Services
Moldings and trims consist of chair rail, crown, dental (interior and exterior), baseboard arched, shoe, bed, window trim, door trim and panel molding. We use either two or three pieces for each molding or trim made for you. If you have a molding that needs to be reproduced we will do that for you, in your choice of woods.
He still does all of the work himself, continually checking the quality of the wood being used. Reflecting the true sign of being a master craftsman, James only buys lumber that is of certain standards. The only grade we purchase and use in our woodworking is FAS, the highest grade of wood sold in this country.
Our preferred wood is first and second growth Long Leaf Heart Pine and reclaimed Long Leaf Heart Pine but we can work with almost any wood you choose. We keep in stock the following woods: long leaf heart pine, black walnut, cherry (Brazilian and domestic), mahogany, teak, red oak, white oak, maple, ash, and hickory and we can get other woods to fit your needs.
After working with wood for over 30 years, we have seen a little bit of everything. But certain projects stand out as being special for a variety of reasons. This gallery is a place to show off a few of these special projects, and to showcase James' abilities. We thank all of the homeowners that gave their permission, for us to photograph their homes.
