Our decorator recommended Sandmasters to refinish our hardwood floors on kitchen, dining room, halls, and bath. They quoted 6-7 days. I needed it done in 5 due to upcoming surgery. They put extra crew on and got it done if 5 with no drama. Everyone was great, they did a wonderful job, the floors look great. Also, somehow the kept the dust way down. I highly recommend them. Hired them to sand and seal wood floors that had been covered with carpet for many years. They explained everything and discussed choice of sealer and how long it would take. The floors look great. They were very careful about keeping the dust down by putting up plastic curtains floor to ceiling around the work area. I'd hire them again.

We can't be more pleased with the great result from Sandmasters hardwood flooring. We replaced our first floor carpeting with hardwood and it is beautiful to behold. Robert Gromala, our contact with Sandmaster, was very professional and helpful guiding us through the installation. Recommend them highly.

Just had Sandmasters refinish existing floors and also put new oak floors into a master bedroom area. The company was excellent to work with and my wife and I were very satisfied with the end result. Robert was extremely professionally and worked hard to meet our schedule. Would definitely recommend.

Used Sandmasters several years ago. Got quote and signed contract 4 months before work to be done. They delivered wood for flooring on time and show up to do work as scheduled. Near end of job, worker says they will be back in 1-2 weeks to finish. wtf? Called Sandmasters and spoke with owner who told me that I was inconveniencing him and his employees needed time off.

How about reading the details of the contract we signed 4 months ago and learning how to schedule your employees. I had planned out this work 4 months ago with the idea that we would use the long weekend to move furniture back and I had scheduled other contractors to be there next week. Owner calls me several obscenities so I filed complaint with NARI and BBB because Sandmasters violated contract.

Short time later I get a call from someone at Sandmasters saying they will be there the next day and work will be done as per contract deadline. Work done was generally good except that there is one loose floor board that they would not fix. But the issue is their disregard for contract deadlines and owner's attitude toward customers.

We had Sandmasters refinish our floors prior to moving in and they did a beautiful job! I didn't like the existing color of the floors so Mark came out to show me some different stain colors. He gave me a number of options based on what I told him I liked and disliked. He was very patient while I took my time making a decision. Since we were moving from out of state, we couldn't be there to oversee the work so Matt sent a few pics of the work in progress and then kept me up to date as far as the changes to the schedule. From beginning to end, I am very pleased with the team's (Matt, Mark and Jesse) management, dedication, timeliness, and workmanship. Thank You!

I would highly recommend Sandmasters for both new wood floors and sanding/recoating floors. The quality of their work was outstanding and their customer service excellent. I needed my floors recoated to get the condo on the market and they went way out of their way to get it done within days of my call. The floors turned our beautiful. I also had them put in a wood floor in my new home and Matt worked with me to find just the right wood and color. Again the quality of work and customer service were outstanding. I want to thank you for the wonderful experience we had with Sandmasters. They arrived early and explained the work they would be doing at our home. They were very considerate and truly were hard workers who did an outstanding job in making our floors available to us that same evening.

I wanted to thank you for the transformation of our floor! We came home from our vacation and it looked like someone took out our old floor and put in a brand new one. The gauges, nicks, stains, and scratches were all completely gone! The quality of the work far exceeded our expectations. And on top of that, there wasn't one speck of dust that showed there was any kind of sanding done! How they did that I will never know. But I am very grateful and Sandmasters will be our #1 referral to all our friends who need their wood floors taken care of.

I was referred to Sandmasters by a home improvements guy. I called Sandmasters at the beginning of May and was told that they were booked out til the end of the month just for someone to come & give me an estimate. Wow! I thought they must be doing a great business, so I scheduled & waited for my estimate. My appt was for May 30. The guy came & spent less than 5 min in my home.

All I wanted was a 120 sq ft room sanded & finished. He acted as if I wasn't worth his time and like he didn't want to be in my home. Let me say I live in a cute little older home, not a huge new mansion. He verbally quoted me $800-900 for 120 sq ft room! Can you say overpriced? He also told me he would email me the quote which would have the final price.

As I write this, it is now 6/4 and I have not recieved the quote. After that awful experience, I have called two other flooring companies and have gotten someone out to give me an estimate within a couple of days and the price is less than half what Sandmasters wanted. I feel like I wasted a whole month waiting for a company that didn't want my business in the first place.

I would not recommend this company. The salesman was very short, didn't explain much at all, acted like he didn't want the job, never sent the follow-up email and was way OVERPRICED.
