For over 75 years Kelley's Wood Floors has been sanding, finishing, and repairing hardwood floors in the Central TX area. In the last 30-35 years we began installing solid hardwood flooring and parquet. Kelley's Wood Floors represents a succession of three generations of wood floor finishers. The third generation of this clan of craftsmen, Gene's son Brian, also began working during the summer's with his father when he was 12. Now co-owner, Brian continues to perpetuate over 75 years of Kelley Family Craftsmanship.
This is where Kelley's Wood Floors began over 75 years ago, out of a small house in Troy, TX, with a few pieces of machinery and one vehicle. Three generations later, we're going stronger than ever! Refinishing wood floors almost seems to be a lost art these days due to an increased popularity in "un-servicable" prefinished wood floors.
If you know or suspect that your wood floors have sustained any type of water damage, your next call should be to us! If you see any signs of cupping (where the edges of the boards are raised), buckling, discoloration, or anything else unusual, give us a call. Our first step will be to visually inspect the damage, perform moisture testing to determine the scope of the damage, then develop a game plan.
We specialize in hardwood floor installation - solid, engineered, prefinished/unfinished, and parquet. Each home is unique, so each floor requires special attention. Improper installation methods can cause damage to your new floor from the start! That's why we take the time to assess your unique situation and decide what the best prep and installation methods will be.

I cannot say enough good things about Kelley's Wood Floors. Reasonable price, attention to detail, considerate at keeping any mess (sanding is messy) to a minimum and if there is any mess, they cleaned it up. My floors look amazing! We live in a house that was built in 1926 and has it's original hard wood floors. Those floors were in need of repairs, replacement in some areas, a good sanding, staining to a very different color and then finishing. The team that worked on our floors were amazing. They arrived when they said they would and did what they projected to accomplish each day. The end result is stunning! We could not be happier and would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for experts on wood floors.

I cannot say enough good things about Brian and Kelley's Wood Floors. From the first phone call to the finished product, everything exceeded my expectations. Brian and his team were friendly, professional, and timely. They showed up when they were supposed to, cleaned up when they were done, and overall were super easy to work with. But that's not all!
They refinished my old porch pine floors to look like brand new! I still cannot believe how beautiful they are. I wanted my floors to be a much darker color than they were originally, and they worked with me to achieve the look/finish I desired. Our entire upstairs has the same flooring, and without hesitation, I will call Kelley's Wood Floors to refinish them. Thanks for amazing work!

Please take the time to read this review. Bryan Kelley and his crew are the best my wife and I have ever seen. They were respectful, on time and professional. Previously we had antique long leaf yellow pine floors installed in our living room, family room and dinning room. My wife decided that she wanted to complete the flooring plan to the hall way and entry way with similar wood. Bryan examined the wood and the slab and gave us a competitive bid that included refinishing the older floors. Bryan and his crew were on time and treaded the installation as if it were being done in their home.
On several occasions Bryan noticed some faults in the previously installed floor and repaired that problem in a manner that blended perfectly with the rest of the floor. We highly recommend his company for your flooring needs.

Brian Kelley and his team refinished my wood floors recently. They sanded and refinished the floors in the den, study and a hallway within 6 days time. They explained the process, answered any questions, and worked with us to make it as painless a project as possible. They were very careful and clean. I had minimal dust, if any. They did an amazing job! I am pleased beyond my highest expectations. I highly recommend them for any wood flooring projects you might have.

My experience with Kelley's Wood Floors is one of the best I've ever had with a contractor. They are amazing! I hired Kelley's Wood Floors to refinish the hardwoods in the entire home. The boards were warped and badly damaged in places. The wood is an exceptionally hard wood, so they weren't easy to re-sand and level. Kelley's absolutely transformed them.
The floors are more beautiful than I could have dreamed. Even in closets where the work is hidden, every square inch has been refinished to perfection. Working with Brian Kelley and his crew was a total pleasure. They stayed within their estimate (which was very reasonable), arrived on time each day, and finished the job ahead of schedule. Brian communicated daily to update me on the progress and contacted me after the job was over to see if I had questions and to provide care instructions.

My family and I recently moved into a new home that was built in 1997 and the wood floors were a very light color red oak. The color of the floors made the house seem a little dated. We called around for quotes to stain the floors a darker color and also called friends for recommedations. Every friend we spoke with said to call Kelley's Wood Floors.
They said they would trust no one else to stain or install wood floors. Kelley did not disappoint! They were a pleasure to work with. Their team is knowledgeable, professional, and do incredible work. They are punctual, efficient and take pride in what they do. The thing I appreciated the most was when they finished the job it was almost as if they were never there!
They were very good about keeping the dust to virtually nothing and were meticulous about the staining process, taking great care to keep the stain off of baseboards, stair risers, etc. Our new floors are absolutely stunning! I highly recommend Kelley's Wood Floors and will definitely call them for all future flooring projects.
