At Vermont Eco-Floors, we transform ordinary concrete into attractive, practical finished floors that function beautifully in both commercial and residential settings. We work directly with homeowners, and also with builders, architects, and facility managers to develop and execute successful plans for your flooring needs.
A polished concrete floor saves raw materials by transforming a structural element of your building, the concrete slab, into a finished floor. Traditionally, the slab was used as a sub floor, requiring the additional purchase and installation of carpet, tile, wood or stone. Leaving the concrete uncovered by subsequent layers of flooring maximizes its ability to absorb and retain heat.
These finishes are provided by Vermont Eco-Floors as a general guideline for selecting a Polished Concrete Floor. In addition to different budget and aesthetic considerations, projects have different concrete providers with varying aggregate blends, sand colors, water ratios, slump requirements and finishing trowel requirements.

I've worked with Mike and Karen and their team on a number of Jobs. Their work has always been excellent. They have a great deal of experience and are very good at explaining the myriad options to customers. We are just finishing a beautiful lakefront house and they did all of the floors on the first floor. At Mike's recommendation we added a sand colored dye in the cement mix so the floors hide the sand people will track in from the beach. They are returning shortly to do the final polish. I will add some photos when complete. Again, excellent experience working with the company! Thanks

Our experience was excellent. Despite the other reviews and our concerns based on them, we got enough information to proceed with having VT Eco Floors polish the concrete floors in our new home. Mike and his crew were prompt, efficient and followed up after the completion of the job. We are very happy with the finished floors and our experience with Vermont Eco Floors.

Buyer beware. They were nice on the phone and gave us a verbal quote that was reasonable. They committed to meet the deadline for our project so we scheduled them and coordinated with our other contractors. Then the written quote arrived a week before they were scheduled to arrive that was 10x their verbal quote. It set our project back a couple of weeks but fortunately we ended up with an honest contractor. My advice - go somewhere else.
