I recently moved into a house and discovered to my horror that I really needed an entire house load of carpets and some flooring.2100 sq ft! My two quotes from well-known locally suppliers were $11,000 and $12500 which I absolutely could not afford! Remembering from 20 years ago when I used them successfully, I contacted Dalton carpets and was able to choose better carpet and flooring than the other quotes.
I used my own installer and the total cost was just under $7,000.saving me, for this quality carpeting, around $6,000! The whole process went smoothly but obviously took a little longer than a local company but it was well worth the wait and a bit more effort. I would thoroughly recommend them and have done so already. Roberta Carling, Richland WA

We were so excited, first to find Dalton Carpets, second to do business with them! Our sales associate was outstanding when it came to answering our questions and getting the order to us as quick as possible. We had a demanding deadline and Dalton Carpets met it with nominal cost! Thank you for your prompt professionalism and courteous attention to myself and the Church that we purchased this product for in Yuma, Az. Pastor Joe Zeable and I will most likely be doing future business with Dalton Carpets. Thanks Lisa

I first went to a large box store. They assured me several times the installation would be free. After wasting several of my days they then quoted me installation at a much higher price. I went to Dalton. They were great to work with. The price they quoted was the price it was. (And much lower than the larger store.) Megan specifically answered all my questions quickly and politely. I'm very happy.

Dalton Carpet has been super. The installers were able to put in carpeting and laminate flooring in a 1900 sq ft house in three days. They did a truly outstanding job, new floors look beautiful. They also helped move extra heavy furniture (for an additional fee). They also cleaned up left over product, vacuumed and swept. We are very pleased with the end result. Recommend Dalton Carpet to anyone who is looking for excellent product selection, great installation, plus they're a local Eugene company.

Absolutely recommend without hesitation. The team at Dalton Carpet helped us when we had a flood in our basement. We wound up doing both carpet as well as engineered hardwood of more than 1,000 square feet of basement space and they were very helpful all along the way. Their quality of service and suggestions helped us make a bad situation into a manageable one with great results!

Our gym carpet is just over one year old and it's literally unraveling at its seams. Customer service said they cannot help us with this issue due to the gym being used outside of normal scope. In the year we've had the gym floor down it has had very "normal" use with athletes for the most part under 10 years old. It was clear from my first email that the intention of customer service was to avoid liability as opposed to helping us prolong the life of this faulty product and design. Pictures of unraveling gym carpet attached. Super disappointing. By the way - NO CLEATS were ever worn on this gym floor.

I purchased 1800 SF of carpet by phone and was apprehensive because carpet is not exactly what I would normally buy from several states away. The experience was amazingly positive! I went to my local stores chose the carpet I wanted by taking samples home. Once I decided on what I wanted, I called Dalton Carpet and Lisa was super helpful. I ended up saving 50% of what I would have paid locally even after paying for freight!

They were a joy to work with. They kept me updated on scheduling, and answered any questions promptly. Once on the scene, their crew was personable, clean and professional. Some of the installation was intricate, and they all knew exactly what they were doing, and were fascinating to watch. After finishing, they went over the details of how the carpet should be treated, and cleaned when necessary. I was even given a phone number to call should I have questions later.

I've been using Dalton carpets for over 20 years! Great to work with and they provide the product in a timely manner. My last installation was last summer and we absolutely love our new carpeting. Rocky Richard and Rocky Jr all take the time to walk thru your options and work with your budget. I use them for both my own personal home and my rentals and oh yay the RV too! Easy to work with and they provide installation all you do is get the room ready for them.

My husband and I have successfully shopped at Dalton Carpet for years, but never again. We found the product we wanted at a good price but apparently they no longer install their product but instead give you the name of contractors to do the work. This is where it all fell apart. A very inept contractor came to our home, tore out to old carpet and began to install new laminate floor when he realized he hadn't scheduled enough time to finish the job.
Furniture was piled in other rooms, dirt and grit everywhere. Half a floor down with nails sticking up and the guy didn't answer his phone or e mails for 3 weeks. When he did, he made more excuses and gave us a vague future date to finish. We found another installer who did a professional job. Meanwhile, Daltons' management claimed no responsibility or even concern for our plight.
When we tried to speak with them about resolving the problem, all we got was a big blank stare. We told them that after doing business with them for 30 years we'd never return.another blank stare. Beware of doing business with Dalton's!

My contact was Wes. He did what he said he could do when he said he would do it. Amazing. We were out of state and relied on him to get things done. He did just that. He kept us informed as the process went along, as the carpet was a special order. We moved in with a beautifully laid carpet, that was installed as ordered. So thanks to the installer too. We are now going to have the hall done because of this great service. Will report on it later. Thanks Wes and installers for a beautiful install.

This company must not like customers. I've literally called them 4 times in the last two months to come do an estimate on my 4 bedroom house that needs to be re-carpeted. Each time I've talked to an actual person who's said they'll have someone call me back to schedule it. Then nothing. O-Well their loss. Good thing they're is now than one carpet company around. If they can't even make a return think about how reliable they'll be installing your carpet. Just saying.

I'm the treasurer or my congregation and I manage the property. I have always worked with them because I get the best price on flooring. Their recommended installers are top notch too. Don't understand the negative review. Most businesses that have been around for 30 years last because they do the right things. A+ all around.

Experience started out ok. Worked with a sales associate who seemed friendly and picked out some carpet my husband and I loved. Problems came when it came time to fix all the damage that was done to our house during the installation process which included deep scratches on our hardwood floor and numerous scratches and marks left on our walls and door frames all over the house.
The people at Dalton Carpet tried telling us initially that the person who installed the carpet was responsible for the repair and we would need to deal with him. We refused to let Dalton Carpet wash their hands of any responsibility so we continued to communicate with them including getting multiple quotes at their request including from the place they specifically said they worked with.
In April after two months of going back and forth, numerous phone calls that weren't returned, and one headache after another, we became antsy to get this resolved because I was due with my second child. The week my daughter was due we called and overheard one employee say to another "I don't give a s*** they are having a baby." My husband wasn't exactly sure what else was said but after hearing such a disrespectful thing being said he threatened to take them to small claims court because we were tired of waiting for ANYTHING to be done.
We ended up working with the installer to get everything resolved. He ended up going through his own insurance and we were sent a check to cover repairs of the floor. The people at Dalton Carpet have still not called to check on us or our situation to see if everything was resolved. Once they took our money and sent out someone to install the carpet they seem to think their job was done. My husband and I ended up feeling absolutely disrespected by their treatment of us and our situation.
