We found The Hardwood Giant through an internet search. We read a few great reviews and decided to contact them (Phil). Working with him was seamless. He came to our home to provide an estimate for replacing carpeting in two bedrooms with hardwood, and replacing tile in the laundry room with LVL. He turned around an estimate the next day, and brought us samples for the LVL a couple of days later. Phil was able to schedule the work a week later, and the floors came out better than we could have hoped. Phil's team was able to match the existing hardwood floor, in plank size and stain. The LVL also looks fantastic in our laundry room. We highly recommend The Hardwood Giant!

Phil and his crew did a beautiful job of sanding and restaining our floors. In addition, we had a floor heat vent moved and the hole had to be repaired. They did such a great job that you can't tell where the hole was. We had the entire downstairs done and it all looks brand new. They did the job while we were away. We came home to a clean and beautiful home. They are trustworthy terrific guys and I recommend them 100%.

Replaced our last two rooms of carpet with red oak hardwood flooring to match existing. I can not speak highly enough about the professionalism, installation and quality of work. Everyone showed up on time and worked hard to minimize the impact of construction on our home. I have used a few companies over the years and Giant Hardwood Flooring far exceeds. The Hardwood Giant did a fantastic job installing my LVP floors! They tracked down the exact floors/product I wanted, even though they were not part of the initial discussion. We ended up having a lot of issues with getting the old floors up but Phil and his team never gave up. They did everything possible (including long hours and weekend work) to make sure the job was done to our satisfaction and in a reasonable amount of time. This company and especially the owner Phil exceeded all expectations on our project. Even today I was walking through and noticing details of their repair and restoration I hadn't initially seen. The finish is flawless and I'm very glad I took the experts advice and opted for the stain we did. They finished on time and did beautiful work. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and these guys are GOOD!

OUTSTANDING! They use high quality materials and are always on time. The installation team works like a fine tuned machine, if any problems are encountered they just don't come to you with the problem but also with solution choices for the problem. The owner or his representative is on site everyday to insure things are going well. The price is reasonable for the quality of workmanship and material used.

Hardwood Giant did an excellent job installing new bamboo flooring in our condo. They communicated and responded quickly and answered our (many) questions about the process. Our family really enjoyed working with the owner and his team. The results of the floor speak for themselves, they look amazing. One of the most important pieces of this process is selected the correct stain color. It was great to have ideas, but the owner and his team sanded off parts of the floor and truly took their time and found the exact color we were looking for.

We ended up doing a 50/50 mix and everyone was incredibly patient while we made the huge decision and worked through the options. Refinishing your floors is a great option instead of replacing if yours floors have that ability and Hardwood Giant will make the process a great one for you!

We had water damage and had to replace our entire downstairs floor. Phil came out and gave a really competitive estimate. His team came out and were able to fully replace our floors in just 3 days including tear out. They stayed later the 3rd day so we could get it all wrapped up and get full use of our floors. My Wife and I recently purchased a home in Monroe, NC and needed the hardwood floors refinished. We received several quotes and decided to go with Phil even though his quote was not the lowest. He is honest, on time for appointments, does his own measurements, offers to add new moulding in places you wouldn't think, and had our quote ready the very next day. His entire crew was very pleasant, respectful, and professional. The job was completed on time and turned out fantastic! Their quality of work is worth every penny.

They recently refinished all our hardwood floors after water damage from a leaky icemaker and they did a fantastic job. They showed up on time, did a very good job and left the house spotless. They exceeded my expectations and I would recommend them highly.

We recently had beautiful hardwood floors installed in our entire house, 2000+ square feet, by The Hardwood Giant. After much research, we decided to trust Phil and his crew with the job of moving furniture, taking up and disposing of carpet, vinyl tile and laminate flooring and installing the new oak floor, mainly because of the many positive reviews this company had.

We were not disappointed! The two-man team who took care of the entire job in under one week were professional, polite, friendly and exceptionally hard working. We were particularly impressed that Phil and his installers were always on time, from the first consultation appointment to the last day on the job. A really rare quality here in Charlotte. We are delighted with the results and are very happy to recommend this company to anyone who wants a flooring job done the way it should be.

From start to finish, the entire process went exactly as Phil predicted. Except for one important distinction: It was a thousand times better than I imagined. I never doubted him from the initial meeting, but when remodeling, it rarely goes as planned. He explained with sufficient detail to ease my mind. Wood is organic and unpredectible. His stain absorbed and resulted in an impressive deep, rich color.

We happened to be onsite during some of the work, and was blown away by the precision of the staff. For example, the guy cutting the quarter rounds made one trip to the chop saw for EACH ROOM ! Phil and his crew were great! Phil was able to come out right away for a quote and begin the next week! He was helpful in fitting to our budget and we could not be happier with the results! We had about 1700-1800 square feet of hard wood floors refinished (original to the 1972 house). They look brand new, everyone that sees them is blown away by the work! Phil was completely professional and called or emailed my husband at least once a day to update on the progress.

The floors were finished right on time and Phil even through in a few extra bits of molding around our fireplace and between our kitchen and den to make sure our final result went beyond our expectations!
