Tom and his crew were awesome to work with! They tore out and replaced about 1200 sq ft of flooring in our new home. Our Floor & Decor product was delayed which pushed back our installation date, but Tom was quick to contact the store to find out what was going on and to reassure us that he was still there and ready to get our job done as soon as the materials arrived.
The crew arrived right on time on the first day of install and got to work immediately. They were all friendly, respectful, and communicative. They kept us informed on what they were going to complete each day. We had some unexpected subfloor repairs, but they worked close to 12 hours each day in order to get our project completed on time. We highly recommend them!

Very pleased. Footprints Floors installed two mosaic tile bathroom floors for us (in one they also installed underfloor heating -- kids + cats love it!) and the new floors are fabulous. Travis was our manager and Junior our installer, both were delightful, friendly, great with kids + pets, and super quick to answer my questions. Actually, everyone with whom I dealt at FF were friendly, responsive, helpful. I spoke with many installers and Footprints was by far the most prompt and most professional. Would absolutely recommend.

There is so much commentary that could be provided to accurately explain my experience but I would exceed the character limit. In short, I had floors refinished, new flooring installed and a new oak treads/riser installed for a staircase. Spent over $20,000! And, after all of that, I could not get Tom and his crew to fix installation issues with the stairs.
Instead of texting, I call Tom and he states, 'to be frank, Luis doesn't feel comfortable coming to your house to do anymore work because you stand over him. And, you say mean things to him'. Really? Immediately called BS. Then Tom says, 'I've told Luis to talk only to me and I have asked you before to not talk to Luis'. Are we in Kindergarten or what?
If things were so bad, then I will gladly accept the new bottle of tequila back which we gave Luis in celebration of him becoming a US Citizen! So far, I have had two neighbors ask about the flooring we've had done and how the process went with Footprints. Not the best experience! You better believe Footprints, nor Tom or Luis, will not receive a favorable reference from me. I will ensure that my circle knows what an awful experience it was and work was left incomplete.

POOR Workmanship, especially for ~$23,000. Tom said he would have his "best CRAFTSMEN" do the work, who turned out to be a bunch of inexperienced and unconscientious kids. His "craftsmen" did not even attempt to contain their mess, and filled my entire house (not just the level on which they working-but the entire house) with wood dust. We had to sweep, dust, and vacuum EVERY day.
They tracked glue all over the floors and barely cleaned up after themselves. When we raised our complaints, the responses were always that the crew was new and that they had frequently been coached on this before. In the end, another crew had to come out and finish the work. The workmanship was SHODDY. Finishing work was amateur, at best. There are numerous gaps, the floors have glue stains, and NEWLY painted walls were damaged.
The damaged walls were filled and painted, but it's obvious where this was done. This is mostly due to poor painting. I've included pictures of the "repairs". The workers were extremely wasteful with the materials throughout the process and regularly left flooring pieces out in the rain, rendering them useless. Work had to be redone- frequently. As a consequence, additional materials had to be purchased. Footprints Floors ordered additional materials and picked them up; however, I was contacted by the supplier of the flooring materials approximately one month later with an unpaid bill in my name for hundreds of dollars.
I felt bad for the project manager, Nick, who was nice and seemingly honest. He seemed to be embarrassed throughout the process. Work was guaranteed for one year; however, when we contacted them about concerns (~2-3 weeks later), we were told that the work had been done and that WE could install quarter round to cover the gaps. It's not what I expected for $23K. I'm attaching pictures so that you can be the judge.

Would highly recommend this company. We had a few rough bumps on the way, flooring didn't match and original contractors had some small hiccups. Footprints bent over backwards to make things right. Dustin was awesome, I was really stressed because I had just moved in but he got the project done and the finish result was awesome. I would 100% go with them again, they stand by their work and are great people to work with.

Footprints installed new hardwood floor in our kitchen, then stained it to match existing hardwood in the three adjoining rooms. Finally they applied 3 coats of polyurethane sealer. Their pricing was the best quoted, installation team very hard working and professional and the work was inspected by the owner. They arrived on time and even came when weather had closed down schools and most local events to finish our last coat of sealer. We highly recommend their work and will use them again in the future!

Unprofessional and a waste of time., i met with matt to discuss flooring in my daughters condo, on 1/13/22. we discussed the job. he informed me it was a prettty straight forward job. and he could handle it with ease, it's been 11 days 3 phone calls and a couple texts later, one to the office. 2 to his cell with no response. absolutely no excuse to not return a call or text even if just to say you are not interested in the job. i've used them in the past on my own home in the highlands. that will not be the case. in any future endeavors.

I highly recommend Footprints and can't wait to use them again! After a burst pipe ruined my bedroom and hallway floor, Tom provided a quote that fit right in my budget and maintained great communication throughout the entire process. Luis and his crew installed new hardwoods in just a few days and were able to match the new floors to the existing hardwoods so that it all blended perfectly. I love my new hardwoods so much that I want to have more installed in the rest of my house!

I thought I would give an update on this review. After posting this on Yelp, providing comments to the Better Business Bureau, and leaving several messages with Footprints floors, somebody finally contacted me. They had one of their senior staffers come out to take a look at the floor. Within minutes he agreed that they had installed the tile incorrectly and offered to replace it for free.
I was ecstatic, I thought I had really lucked out. Not so much. The contractor who did the work was not only rude, but installed the floor in such a way that it is now sloping slightly. When I brought this up, the contractor basically quit on the spot and refused to make the problem right. What kind of people are they hiring? Not only did they install the floor incorrectly for a SECOND time, but they didn't finish the work.
I had a transition that was supposed to be sanded down which they never finished. I had to call another flooring company and pay to get that work completed. I just want to reiterate that Footprints Floors is absolutely the worst choice you can select for your flooring needs. It's clear that the business owners read these reviews, as they made a comment on my first post. I really hope they read my update and understand the pure incompetency and apathy of their employees.

In this line of business, not every install will be perfect. I get that. What separates Footprints from the rest is the extremely poor customer service that Tom displayed throughout my time working with this company. Tom's hubris has caused me to inform my family and friends to never use this company. Arrogant and prideful are the two words I would use to explain how he operates.
If I were running a company and my crew did a poor install, I would do everything in my power to try and make things right. Instead, threats of a lien on my house and taking me to small claims court were what were used in order to try to get the rest of the money owed instead of fixing the floor first. Tom, if you're reading this, your way of running a company is extrmely disrespecful. I am happy to forward the email correspondance I had with Tom to anyone that would like it to show how poorly he handled this situation. Do not use this company.

Wonderful experience with Cory and Larry. Cory was very adamant about the floors being installed properly and in a timely manor and Larry (the installer) was a perfectionist when it came to installing the product. Home Depot had sent some bad product that was cracked and or broken but they worked it out with me and Larry flawlessly installed it. Proud of them and they are a great group of guys. Will use again.

When Footprints Floors say they are one-of-a-kind family owned business, we found out personally this was true. The owner himself came out to give us an estimate on installing our new backsplash. In no time a craftsmen was at our home to install it. When completed it was the overall look we wanted. Thank you to the owner and the craftsmen for not only doing a great job for us, but also for being so kind. I would highly recommend them.

We love our refinished floors, stained Weathered Oak on red oak wood. From start to finish, we were impressed with Footprints Floors. Everyone we dealt with was professional-prompt response time, excellent communication, and follow-through. Pricing was competitive. Tom is very personable and answered all our questions, listened, and was attentive to our needs and choice for the right color. Luis is a master! Also, extremely nice, conscientious, and totally changed the look of our rooms with an amazing floor transformation! We recommend Footprints and would use this team again.

I had Todd Park from Footprings Floors come to my home and give me a quote around last August. I contacted Todd about three weeks and said we were getting serious about the project. He asked me to send him an image of the quote, which I did. We discussed the project again and I asked him if he was still comfortable doing it for the quoted price. He said yes he was.
I went to Lowe's and ordered the tile and called Todd immediately after that. We agreed on a project start date of May 6th. He said I needed to sign the quote to get on the schedule and that he would need to come by and get the initial payment. The next moring I received a text from Todd where he said the installation would go up by $1,500. He said the instalation and backing board would be the new price.
I texted him back and told him that this install would be over a concrete slab and wouldn't require backing board - thinking that was the reason for the price discrepancy. He replied that no backing board would be required, but stated the cost would still be $1,500 more. I think this was very unethical. I told Todd to take me off the schedule. Be wary when dealing with these people! MH

Removing a star. We had already contracted new carpet before the hardwood fiasco. Today was new carpet day, promise time was between 8:30-9am. Get a call around 12:30 pm saying the crew started the wrong job and will not be here today. At this point, you would be better off taking a YouTube tutorial and doing the work yourself than hiring this joke of a company!
Oh and Colby, the reason why I am leaving a negative review is because we have been in contact with you guys. This is to WARN OTHERS so they can avoid the same mistake we made. This was the chance to prove to us that this company is professional and reliable, yet again you could not pass this test! Original review: If you want it done right the first time, don't hire these guys!
This is what they do, they hire day laborers under a project manager that has limited experience and knowledge on how to actually do the job at hand. We hired them to refinish our hardwood floors. The finished product has swirls, bubbles, and globs in the finish. Not exactly sure how you get swirls in a process that requires application in STRAIGHT LINES! This company is full of amateurs. RUN FAR AWAY!

I have my floors done originally using a third-party installer from floor and decor they installed my stairs wrong 2 different times. Footprint floors came to repair all the damage and took care of all the headaches with the third left installer and ordering new parts. The owner was really helpful and professional, and even salted our driveway! I highly recommend this company!

It's only been 2 years since our floors were done. The carpet is now buckling; making it look several years older. There is also more areas under the carpet that squeak from debris not removed before installation. The very small area of tile near our door was the only area I thought was done well but now the grout has already chipped away in several areas. BTW, I still have my emails of the threat to charge us an extra $75 if my husband and I were both not present when the contractor showed up. Money down the drain.

As of this review, we are almost finished with the install process. We have loved every single step of the process thus far. The price was fair, the crews are all polite/friendly and the workmanship is exceptional. Eduardo is terrific as well. He answers our questions, gets back to us quickly and is generally a nice guy. We had several other estimates' and we are beyond pleased we went with Footprints.

Sales experience was fine, matched another lower quote we received to win our business, scheduled in the work within 2 weeks, good job Matt! Operational management was non-existent. Dustin was to be our Project Manager, never saw or spoke to him for the entire 3 days of the project! We were left with dealing directly with the technicians to get valuable jobsite information, which was difficult with their limited English.
So there was no understanding of length of time, what to expect during the job, what time the crew was coming, etc. With that said, the crew was very nice and did very good work, so final product looks great! However during the project, missed things like: leaving their machine with the color compound under it, on top of our newly grouted ceramic tile, leaving the job site with windows open that we cannot access over a drying floor, did not clean up after themselves very well, leaving debris and product out in front of the house over night, when less eye sore options were available to them. Overall: Sales-B+ Contractor-B+ Project Management-F(non-existent)

I was really exited to get a new tile kitchen floor and backsplash but I was only met with disappointment and utter frustration.i worked through Floor and Decor, Installation Made Easy and Footprints. Through this process, I was expected to shop for all my own materials which were incorrect and meant 8 trips to various stores. The list was materials were incorrect, without descriptions and meant that mediocre materials were used in my project.
I was also working with a project manager who did not pass along vital information to the technicians to make the project timely and done professionally. When I took these concerns to the project manager and the supervisor, I didn't get any response. Such a frustrating and expensive experience that made it hard to even enjoy my kitchen updates when they were complete. Until their process changes, I do not recommend any of these companies for your flooring projects.

Footprints Floors did an amazing job. They walked us through the whole process of finding the right flooring and explained everything they were doing. They were Uber professional and so fun to work with. I cannot recommend them enough! They are amazing and if you're even considering going somewhere else, don't.

Damaged my baseboard in multiple spots, many holes in the wall, and ruined multiple windows by abusing latches, scratched adjoining tile in multiple spots. I asked for just the one window latch replaced and they strung me along for months finally stopped responding to my calls. Owner ran "possible franchises" through my private home w/o my permission multiple times. Contractors used my bathrooms upstairs after i said only the powder is okay. Didn't flush. i turned HVAC off and put up drop cloth to avoid spreading dust as much as possible. They turned HVAC back on and left door open.and pulled drop cloths which were out of their way. I spent about 25K on floors and they treat me like garbage Run.away.fast

I have no idea how this company gets any good reviews. But if you do use them, be sure to not pay a dime until everything they say"we will take care" is done. They promised to take care of some kitchen cabinet damage and did not. Their installer chipped several of the tiles he installed, they will not repair. Beware! This is my first yelp review and for good reason!

Footprint Floors exceeded my expectations for my flooring install. Kyle was on time for both visits. He gave a fair estimate for the job. I received the estimate the same day however not on the spot (this is good as it gives an accurate bid). Kyle was very easy to schedule with. They arrived on time and finished the job in 1 day as promised. They did a great job of installing the floors around a radiator that my condo does not allow to be removed.
They installed the floors exactly how I wanted. They also did a great job cleaning up. It is extremely hard to find good work like the work provided by Footprint Floors. I would 100% recommend to anyone needing flooring to contact them.

We scheduled an estimate over a month in advance while at floor and decor. Received several emails of confimation. The day before a Todd text to change from 3 to 11. Was told not available at 11. Day of appointment get a voice message at 10:32 he could not make the 3, something came up. Well I guess you didn't want the job huh. Then tried to message us how about next week. Yeah no that doesn't work for us. We will find another contractor.

We used Footprints Floors 3 years ago for hardwood floors and the experience was great. This year we had a big job in our home replacing the downstairs carpet and existing tile for wood tile planks. The quality has been going down. The work has been done, but we had several issues with different workers and contractors. What it was supposed to be done in 2 weeks, took a lot longer.
We were left with plumbing problems, we had leaks to the point we had to hire a professional plumber to fix the guest bathroom sink. The new tile areas including formal dining and living areas, entry hallway, kitchen, powder room, closet, laundry room and family den were left without cleaning. The haze from the grout was never cleaned. We had to take action and clean it ourselves.
We had to buy professional tile cleaners to do the job and we had to mop the floors several times. That is when we realized that we had gaps in the grout. We were left with tools, buckets with water, a cutting table and a dolly in our garage for weeks. We also had the floor and tub shower enclosure done in a jack and jill bathroom upstairs. Again, the job was done but not with the best quality.
The tub shower is not usable, there is a.25 gap between the wall and faucet. The grout corners are cracked, no caulking was used, the accent tile is not flushed with the rest of the tile and wall, the new tile was not cleaned and it's hazy. The tile on the floor of the bathroom is also very dirty. The edges where the tile meets the carpet are not even and are sharp.
The door frames were stained, and never cleaned as the bathroom cabinets when the tile floor was installed. 2 weeks ago I contacted Dan to try to finish the details and bring a plumber to fix the bathroom faucet. We have not heard from him. We contacted the main Footprints Floors main office, left a message for Mr. Bryan Park, the business owner and he never contacted us.
I don't like to post negative reviews, but when you spend more than 10 grand, all comes down to the details and customer service. I have a balance and I would like to pay, but I need all the details to be fixed.

Please do not make the same mistake we made by hiring this company to install your hardwood floors. They send this really nice guy out to sell you on their company and after that you get the worst type of installer that is possible with very poor quality at the end result. The project took way longer than what we were told and needed to keep coming back to fix problems with the flooring because of poor workmanship.
The worker they hired was messy and didn't care about the mess he left behind. Plus, The sealer that was used was very cheap. The sealer didn't look great when they put it on and it's horrible looking now. We spent over$8,000 on our floors and I wish that I would have researched this company more. When they finally completed the job the floor did not even look finished.
It was dull and you can see nails are on top of the wood were you should never see nails through hardwood floors. We had this done over four years ago. I will have to have my floors redone and cost us more money and that is ridiculous. Plus my floors are squeaking which started from day one! Very disappointed!

Work that was planned for 1-1.5 days took 4 days to complete thanks to the unprofessional subcontractors they hired. Never showed up on time, on any of the days. Workers left small nails on the floor on the days in between that pricked my 2 year old baby's feet. That should give everyone a sense of the quality of care they take in their work. Had hard time connecting/coordinating with Todd because he wouldn't answer my call or be responsible for his workers showing up on time. Rather, asked me to coordinate directly with them. The laminate that was installed has already started showing gaps in between them. Extremely dissatisfied. For everyone out there, beware!

I selected Footprints Floors to install my beautiful vinyl flooring throughout my entire home. Matt was my salesperson and so incredibly easy to work with. He answered all my questiones very promptly I received a shopping list with all supplies needed. Victor and Adrian were my installation team. These gentlemen were top notch. They take in account that my disabled father lives me and very respectful of the situation.
They went the extra mile to make the install for Dad and easy as it could be. They were also so good to furry four legged kids. Adrian was kind to enough to retrieve my dog when she got out My floors came out better than I imagined Thanks Footprints Floor!

My husband and I were extremely happy with the workmanship and the final results of our hardwood floors. We had a pretty large job (around 1000 sq. ft.) and our previous floor needed to be removed which was a mosaic design made of hardwood that had been glued down with a heavy duty type of glue product. This added a significant amount of work not to mention possible damage to the sub-floors.
They were able to remove it with very little damage. They managed to remove the entire floor in a day and a half and the entire floor was completed in 5 days. They finished 1 week earlier than we had anticipated. WOW! We also purchased a select grade of white oak and had it rifted and quartered. The product is simply beautiful. We would like to mention Tyler, the Project Manager, and commend him for being so patient with us because we are pretty picky people.
He was more than attentive, quick to respond, professional and extremely easy to work with. He is FABULOUS! Also, many thanks to Ivan and his team. They worked their tails off and their craftsmanship is second to none. We couldn't be happier! Thank you Footprints and team.

These guys were AWESOME. Pete came out for an estimate, gave us a fair price, AND was able to propose a solution for the lack of a 220 Volt outlet in our condo (I now know this is a requirement for flooring!) Our floors were looking pretty rough from normal wear and tear of furniture, a dog, and us tromping around in various shoes. There was also some pretty bad water damage near our back door and around our refrigerator from a leak. Pete said no problem! Chad and team came out to do the actual work.
They were professional, courteous, and even moved all our furniture out of our condo for us. Our 1,000 square foot condo was completed in 3 days, and we were able to move furniture back in the 4th day (which they also came back to help with). Dust was not bad at all - nothing that an hour of wipe down didn't fix. Much better than what my expectations were.
The floors look incredible - we had no idea there were such rich colors hiding beneath the old finish that had been there before! I only wish I had a good "before" picture to show the drastic transformation. I also Footprints was not the lowest bid that we got, but I'm really glad I payed the slightly higher price for the quality, professionalism, and solutions provided. Further, they worked within our super tight deadline before we put our place on the market.

Large residential project. Very poor customer service and finish work. Cancelled on me 3 times to come back and finish punchlist items. Had us get in a middle of a payment spat with their sub contractor as well. I will be leaving comments where ever I can about the service and quality of this company. The owner never called or bothered to come by to resolve issues on a more face to face meeting. Very disappointing. We should have done a better job researching this company before hand and I should have held back more money to guarantee finishing of punchlist items!

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of work that was performed by Footprints Floors. The quality of work was in fact so poor that they had to do it twice, with the second time being as bad as the first. There are very visible mistakes in the floor of a variety of locations and in a variety of ways: uneven staining, visible sanding marks in the wood several floor finish flaws (bubbles in the finish, sponge marks in the finish), stain on my baseboards, stain on my dishwasher, stain on my refrigerator, stain on the walls, etc.
To make them even worse, they were late to my house every single day they were supposed to be on-site; two hours late the first day, 30 minutes late the second day, and nearly three hours late the third day!!! And all of this set me back over a thousand dollars. I should have noticed the complaint that they had against them with the BBB (even though it was resolved it is a huge red flag that I missed). I would never, never recommend Footprints Floors to another customer and would strongly suggest that anyone considering this company consider a different flooring company
