I've been using Apex flooring for about 4-5 years now. I used to be head of maintenance for a 250 unit mid rise apartment complex in Ballard. We renovated every unit and used Apex for each one. Their installers are an absolute pleasure to work with and Tony is the best! I am now a general contractor and always reach out to Tony with any flooring questions or quotes and he always is there for me. This company is the best.

After hearing recent horror stories about carpet installation from the big box stores, I decided to go with Costco. That dictated using Apex, and installing Shaw carpet. Everything went fine until install day. The girl that had measured previously had flubbed somehow, so there wasn't enough carpet so no install. The installer called the office, who said they would re-order and then reschedule.
I had emptied the living room for the carpet and didn't feel like dragging it all back in again, so I just moved the sofa and TV back. A day later I received a call that my installation had been scheduled for the next week. No "Gee, we're sorry for the inconvenience". No nothing. Install went fine (installed was awesome!). They charged my credit card, so the must be happy. Granted, people make mistakes.
But if you're in the flooring business you should be able to measure a room! And, no apology for the inconvenience is inexcusable. One two minute phone call. It's free, and you wouldn't have a lost a customer. I have two more rooms to do, and I'll be going elsewhere.

Not terribly impressed. They have quality products available, but their install has left a lot to be desired. Wood floor crew arrived, began work, stopped for 2 days after a patch had to be leveled, came back for half a day, then won't be able to come back for a week. On top of that they have left a bare, dirty sub-floor, to track dirt into the new carpet in the other rooms. The kitchen stove can't be used either. Brother. I'd hoped for better since they were through Costco.

We would definitely recommend Apex flooring to our friends and family! Some of our family members have already used Apex and they are very happy with the workmanship. Apex installed quartz countertops and replaced our tile in the kitchen and we couldn't be happier! Apex also replaced the ugly tile around our fireplace. Mary guided us through the whole process with her experience and Tony answered all of our many questions promptly! Ken our installer was a pro! Thank you Apex!

Personally not too impressed with them. My wife has been dealing with them. So far on the 3rd reschedule with them. Went from initially June 25th, then July 2nd, now July 6th. Scheduling and ordering need better communication. *** Update now on reschedule #4. After confirming with them yesterday saying they'd be installing our floor today (7-6-18) Installer is sick. NOT the way to earn the trust of customers. They better do something to make us happy.

This was the company that Costco sub-contracted for their flooring. Was contacted immediately to get someone out to measure and show us some samples. Took WEEKS to get a complete estimate (we wanted a mix of carpet and wood floors) and I only got it after I sent several emails asking for it. Finally got the estimate and have not heard another word from them - apparently, they don't need my business.
I can't tell if the company itself is like this or they just get paid less for the Costco jobs so they don't follow up on estimates to see if you want to move forward. I get that it's a fine line between pushy and following-up, but I shouldn't have to ask several times just to get an estimate.

We are grateful for the referral we received to Apex Flooring. Everyone we have met at Apex has been welcoming and supportive. Our remodel project involves basically all rooms in our house. The kitchen and master bath have been taken down to the studs and each room has been reduced to the subfloors. At every turn, Mary Grab has been a key component of this process.
While listening to our needs and wishes, she created the design for the master bathroom and suggested resources for all materials. She has guided us through the kitchen design and the selection process for all components plus new flooring throughout our house. She has coordinated with our contractor and subs to make a cohesive team. Mary has been easy to work with, accessible, patient and shown the utmost attention to detail.
When confronted with issues that will not work, she has provided viable options that are practical and maintain the quality and budget of our project. Her honesty has helped us to make the best decisions. We feel confident that Mary not only has the knowledge and resources to do all aspects of our project but she will deliver a project well done.

I’m not even sure how to properly thank you for all that you have done for me to create such a beautiful kitchen. I so appreciate your patience, expertise, friendship, time, etc. these past weeks. I am so unbelievably thrilled with how everything turned out. Not one thing is less than perfect. There really are no words. Thank you!

This seems to be a momentous occasion and I want to thank you and your team for all the work to update our home. We are enjoying the beauty of the new bathrooms and the carpet and grateful that we could trust all the people coming in and out of our home. Thank you for your advice and especially for keeping up on all the details.
