Oh, did I tell you that they installed missing baseboards which were not initially discussed in the original quote with very little extra charge? Above and beyond my expectation, and believe me, I am very picky. Hands down the best company I've worked with and I will use them again If I need any floor work in the future.

I called ADR flooring based on a recommendation from my sister who used Vasi and his company about a year ago. We just moved into a house and wanted the floors to be restained before we moved in any of our furniture. Vasi was prompt in his response, extremely knowledgeable about stains and the amount of work to be done, and was willing to begin the job the morning after we closed.

The work he did was immaculate, meticulous, professional, and all done with a smile. We have an original staircase rail and banister which was a lot of work to sand and stain, and he made it look brand new. Look no further and hire Vasi! I reached out to a number of flooring companies and I am so glad I chose ADR to refinish my floors. The estimate to refinish my floors were the lowest which I was a little concerned about but this company did have all 5 star reviews, so I decided to give ADR a try. Vaso and his team were very efficient and I was able to step on my floors by the 3rd day. I'll let the photos speak for themselves.

Stop searching around for a flooring company, this is the one you want to hire! Vasi refinished and stained my floors and a staircase in my new home and I LOVE how it all turned out! I'd give Vasi more than 5 stars if I could. From start to finish, he was so easy to work with and very professional. Vasi created the perfect stain color for me and he worked with me to make sure the job could be completed before my move-in. I really cant say enough good things about working with Vasi for Hardwood flooring on our home renovation. It is so difficult to find trustworthy and reliable subcontractors and Vasi with ADR certainly is one of them! He may even be my favorite person who worked on our job (and my cousin worked on this project! so thats saying alot!) He is professional and respectful, knowledgable and always does and says what he promises.

He is SUCH A HARD WORKER- and always with a positive, helpful attitude-just one of those guys who will work late and do everything he can to get the job done with a smile on his face. He comes from a place of "yes, lets make it happen"- which really is saying a lot from trades people these days! We renovated a mid century home with 2-1/4 red oak planks existing in the kitchen only and wanted to carry that hard wood throughout the rest of the home.

This included lacing in patches of new wood with the old- where kitchen cabinets had previously stood and you CAN NOT EVEN see where they used to be! Not only that but he hand made a custom wood floor vent for an odd shaped air return that we had! Its the nicest vent cover in town! We did a light gray stain on the floor to tone down the natural wood tones and picking the color was hard but Vasi was helpful and knowledgable with assisting in selecting the stain and finish. I plan on using him for future projects and have already recommended him to multiple friends and my mom.

We hired Vasi with ADR Flooring to refinish our hardwood floors, and he did an amazing job! We wanted a lighter color than what was there before, and we are so happy with the end result. Can not recommend ADR more. So impressed and in love with my floors. Clear up-front pricing prior to doing any work. Vasi and his crew of two were kind, friendly, accommodating, and most importantly skilled. Refinished several rooms, stairs, AND laid new floors. Fixed all the floor squeaks. They also made GORGEOUS inlay vent covers. All this in less than a week. Use ADR, you will be so happy with the results.

They refinished my maple floors which included filling in gaps with putty, repairing & replacing planks, sanding, and finishing. They even put up my new baseboard moulding I bought. They did a fantastic job on everything. Vasi is the owner and he went above and beyond for me. Before the job started, one weekend he drove out 30 minutes to my home on short notice when I needed help matching stain with my current woodwork. He ended up giving me the stain and finish on the spot. The service and work done was excellent. And his price was very competitive. Highly recommend!

I am so happy we went with ADR. We bought a condo and needed the 90's orangey builder-basic hardwood floors refinished. Vasi was super quick to respond and was my lowest quote (which actually made me a little nervous). He's very responsive to calls/texts and did excellent work. It only took 3 days to complete. He even worked Thanksgiving morning to get it done. Vasi also removed our kitchen island and fixed the trim around one of the doors for no additional cost. He is such a sweet guy too which makes the whole experience better. Would recommend him 100%.

ADR Flooring (Vasi) arrived right on schedule to repair an area of worn flooring in my son's bedroom. All equipment and materials were kept on a drop clothe to keep area clean. The repair (multiple sandings, clean up, stain and seal) looks better than I imagined it could. In addition, I asked Vasi to take a look at my staircase because a few steps were loose.

He took each step apart and outside to scrape off old glue, added nails to stabilize the existing woodwork, and finally glued steps down with the proper adhesive. After he finished both projects, he vacuumed the floors and the stairs, saving me from having to do it. I watched him work the entire time he was here, and I can't overstate how impressed I am. Vasi is very thoughtful and methodical about his work and his pricing is super reasonable. Don't hesitate to contact him; he's worth it!

We just moved into a new house and hired ADR Flooring to put hardwood floors in our dining room and family room, which had very old carpeting. We wanted to match it to the rest of our kitchen and main floor. Vasi came out for an estimate and was very knowledgeable and reasonable in his quote. We met with a few other companies and knew Vasi was the best option.

He did not disappoint! He did an amazing job of matching the floors and there was no dust residue or smell! Vasi could not have been more reasonable in price. He was honest, trustworthy, and easy to work with. We were very satisfied with the final result and would not hesitate to hire him again for other flooring projects in our house. Where to begin? Received an extremely fair quote 7/20 and work began 7/23. Vasi explained the different finishes, his crew helped move my heavier furniture out of my rooms and their work is amazing. Polite and friendly service! I transformed my first floor from dark cherry colored wood to a beautiful amber honey.

After reading all of the positive reviews for ADR Flooring we knew we had to go with them, and they did not disappoint! We had recently moved in to a 100+ year old bungalow and ripped out carpeting only to find gaps of wooden floor missing (where walls had previously been). Vasi and his team worked extremely hard to fix the gaps with similar flooring, sanded, and stained everything and they now look incredible! A very hard working team with reasonable prices, we definitely have already recommended them to our family and friends.

I've dealt with a lot of contractors as a landlordess, all ranging from terrible (who weren't hired or quickly let go) to great. Vasi and his team were a dream in refinishing my maple stairs - absolutely no BS, super reasonable quote, punctual, excellent communication, and top notch workmanship. My stairs went from DIY finishing nightmare to beautiful, completely refreshed maple.

He even went the extra mile to clean up my wood railings, and installed new anchors into the walls so they're now fully supported. A+++ would definitely recommend and hire again. Thank you Vasi!

Some background on our story. We moved into our historic 1893 home just over 5 years ago. We immediately pulled up the carpet in our master bedroom, knowing there must be hardwood under them like the rest of the house. What we found instead was 1940s tile, so we scraped that up. and tar paper. and there were our floors. Long-board heart pine. The only issue was it was covered still in a bit of paper.

Oh yeah - there was also a fire in the corner of the room in the 1970s - which caused there to be a massive hole of just plywood in that area. We contacted multiple contractors trying to find someone who could find wood to patch the hole and restore the floors. Everyone said I needed to find the wood and then we could talk. I started looking everywhere.

I even made an order, but it was back-ordered. We were about to have our first child, so I rented a floor scraper and sander and did the best I could. I bought some face plywood, ripped it into boards that matched, and patched the hole. We decided to paint the whole thing so we could at least use the room when our daughter arrived. Fast forward 5 years.

Green floors still going strong. In between, I had gotten a round of quotes for the floor, but no one seemed to really understand the project. I had finally received my wood order, and it had been sitting under our bed for 18 months. The flooring contractors I could get to call us back wanted a lot of money or seemed to act like the project was too small for them.

Then a friend saved the day by referring me to ADR. They were quick in response and scheduling a time to start the project. I described the issues, and they didn't flinch. During the project, I needed more overrun than I had bought for the hole and adding a new floor to our closet. Again, they didn't flinch and went to get wood that would work for the few boards they needed.

They even went the extra mile and insulated between the wall and floor joist, where there was no barrier. Our room hasn't been this warm in the winter ever! Killed the cold floor near the exterior walls. They effortlessly replaced what needed to be replaced. Moved boards around so the room would age properly between new and old wood. Most of all, our bedroom is beautiful, matches the rest of the upstairs, and we saved that wood that must be 225 years old (at least). ADR Flooring was the best!

The speed of response. The quality of the work. The care for the rest of our home. The ability to roll with the punches and not involve me at every stage unless needed. On top of all of that, they stuck to their word for pricing (so I paid a little more and a tip, you should think about doing the same, that is how great they are). I hope to have them redo our main level.

The care and respect for our historic home is just what we wanted. In summary, when many other flooring contractors were impossible to get a hold of or said it couldn't be done without ripping up all our floors, ADR didn't flinch and completed the job on time and picture-perfect!

If I could give Vasi ten stars I would. He was my lowest bid, which made me a little nervous honestly. I even asked one of the other companies to look at his bid to see if it was missing anything. But no, it was a straightforward and accurate bid for the whole job. Based on all the five-star reviews, I gave him the job. And wow, he did not disappoint.

He was able to start my floors the day after I closed on the house. He had to rip out a lot of stone tile and carpet to lay down new hardwood, but he got it done in no time. He finished the job on time and was even willing to work around the schedules of other contractors. Most of all, he was really pleasant to work with. He's a very relaxed, patient guy, and was easy to talk to.

He answered all of my questions without being annoyed. He showed up when he said he was going to show up, and he was always very clean. And now my floors are gorgeous! Even where he had to match the height of the old stone floors with the existing surrounding hardwood, he was able to do it seamlessly. I still can't believe how even and smooth the transition is. We called ADR in a pinch when someone we had previously procured kept stringing us along with a start date, only to cancel the day before he was to finally start. This was especially frustrating because we were finishing floors in a house we were already living in and would continue to live in through the refinishing process. Which meant half our home was empty of furniture and prematurely uninhabitable. Vasi was quick to respond - easy to communicate with - the most affordable - and was able to start within days of contacting him!

He showed up promptly and early in the day on Day 1, with 3 helpers - which meant the job was done in 2 days! He did a great job of keeping us updated throughout the project and involved us in choosing the color of stain - sharing his professional recommendation. He also did an amazing job blocking off the rest of our house from getting dusty - and managed to keep the smell out of the house by installing in a fan in a rear window and blowing the air outside. We couldn't be more thrilled with ADR's work!

Vasi and his team at ADR Flooring have done a lot of work for me refinishing hardwood floors and I could not be more pleased. They work as hard as possible to make sure your job is done in a timely matter. Very professional and high end looking finish. Vasile and his team were professional, flexible, and did an excellent job. We recently purchased a home and decided to redo our wood floors on the main level, and remove the carpet in the bedroom and refinish the floors underneath. We had a tight window to redo the floors after we took ownership of the home and before we moved in. Vasile was able to meet us right after closing to do a walk through and discovered that there was no wood under the carpeted bedrooms. Vasile and his team brought over new wood right away to acclimate it, then installed the new wood and refinished the floors on schedule. Vasile gave a very reasonable quote to install the new wood floors when he had me between a rock and a hard place. I would recommend Vasile and would use them again in the future.

My floors look gorgeous! The area with the new floor is flush with the rest of the room. The whole apartment looks like brand new floors, and I'm thrilled with the finish he recommended.

My fiance and I recently purchased an 1890s home in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. The floors were original, and were in disrepair. The floors were a blonde oak and looked dated, with many floor boards needing a total overhaul. After contacting several flooring experts, I was told my many (as well as online sources) that staining maple floors was risky, if not impossible.

Vasi installed approximately 750 sq ft of 1.25" wide plank hardwood throughout my main living area recently. He sanded, stained and applied multiple coats of polyurethane sealant to the floor after stain was complete. I could not be happier with the level of service I've received from Vasi throughout the process and my only regret thus far is not having hired him sooner.

Vasi and his team did a great job at my 100+ year old condo. Existing carpet from 2 rooms was removed and replaced with engineered hardwood and luxury vinyl plank. Originally I wanted to refinish the old pine but it was past any decent repair. The condo is not very level but Vasi was still able to install everything and make it look real good. I did have a few others come for quotes but Vasi was definitely the most professional and had great pricing too. If you are looking for any flooring work I definitely recommend ADR and will be sure to use them again in the future.

Vasi and his guys did a great job on refinishing and repairing our floors. The older original floors were in very bad shape: stains, broken floor boards,etc. So we knew from the reviews that ADR could certainly make the floor look better, but the results were really outstanding! The floor in the newer addition also was in need of refinishing and the two now blend more together.

This is a company that knows floors and cares about the end result. Vasi kept in touch and related what was happening. (We were out of town, but family remained). The floor needed an extra day to dry between coats and he explained that he didn't want to rush the second coat. AND, the price was very reasonable, the cheapest quote we got for refinishing. SO, yes we highly recommend Vasi and ADR. You really only need one quote, from ADR.
