Do you ever wonder what kind of flooring makes a difference when selling your home? You might think that sellers might overlook flooring when considering buying a new house but it might be a deal breaker. When looking at a house people look for good structure, good flooring, and good curl appeal among other things.
Carpets are used in industrial and commercial establishments and in private homes, but there are also industrial and commercial carpets available in our store. Carpet flooring are used for a variety of purposes, including insulating a person's feet from a cold tile or concrete floor, making a room more comfortable as a place to sit on the floor (e.g., when playing with children) and adding decoration or color to a room.
This type of flooring is considered a great alternative for a solid hardwood floor because of its many advantages. The great advantage of engineered flooring is that it is more stable in "un-stable" climates compared to solid floors. Generally it can be installed over concrete as well as wood sub-floors.
Unlike traditional vinyl flooring, luxury vinyl flooring, or LV, offers a photo-realistic imaging layer that enable it to imitate the look of traditional stone or wood flooring. It is available in long, narrow luxury vinyl plank flooring formats that help eliminate seams and further mimic traditional wood floors.

The folks at FLOORS FOR LESS in Middleton, the service they provide, their products and prices and the end result of vinyl plank flooring installed in our home recently, all OUTSTANDING! We can't say enough about happy we are with everything they have done and how beautiful our floors look! The installers worked so hard and put care into every small detail - fantastic work!
They were friendly, and asked questions - even offering solutions for those unexpected surprises found after they removed the old carpet. They finished the job in the timeframe specified. My wife and I checked out Floors for Less based on a friend's recommendation and we didn't have to look elsewhere. Dave and team were very knowledgeable and helped us along each step - with no upfront obligation just to get an estimate. Our old carpet was soon torn up and replaced with beautiful, modern planking that we know will last a lifetime. Highly recommend FFL!

We would recommend Floors For Less to anyone who needs new flooring in their home! The service that we received at the store was great! The two gentlemen who installed the flooring are awesome! They did an absolutely wonderful job and we feel as if we have a brand new kitchen! They were extremely efficient and always went far beyond what is expected. They were very trustworthy and helpful! Called Floors for Less about pricing and was told someone would come out to my home and measure. A couple days laterJeremy came out and took measurements, I was told the next step was to go to their store and pick out my flooring. The store had many samples and different qualities of flooring. They did such a good job on the first house we bought in Madison that we had them do almost every inch of the next house we remodeled. Not only were they prompt and professional, but their installers are really good guys who obviously care about the quality of work they do. They even recommended some changes to our original plan. I am so glad we listened to them.
It looks much better than it would have had we done it our way. They were also super helpful in picking the right materials. We wanted hard wood. But even though it meant less profit for them, they showed us why LVP would be a better product for us. We love it and it cut the cost of our project in half!

So my wife recently put a $3800 deposit down with them. After multiple phone calls and "no response" and several emails that were promised that never arrived we decided to do some more research. We definitely started to get the "feeling" that this was going to turn into a mess. My wife had went by there location to pay the $3800 and a rep Scott told her they cant take Credit Cards over the phone because of too many disputes ( 1st Huge Warning!
Who would even tell a Customer that) When we called to cancel, their rep refused, saying they had already ordered the wood. Sooo.heed my warning and stay away from them at the start. Save yourself the headaches from dealing with their lack of knowledge on how to provide good Customer Service.

Floors for Less installed a "heated" tile floor in an upstairs bathroom. Sad to say, the floor they installed doesn't heat. Our experience with Floors for Less has been time consuming, expensive and very disappointing. For over six months, Floors for Less stalled out the service calls to troubleshoot and address the problem. The installer assured me that once he could get free to come to our Madison area house, he would be able to fix the problem in a brief service call. Months later, by phone, he stated that the electric line to the thermostat was the problem.
We then had an electrician out, who determined that the line was fine and that the heating mat the Floors For Less had installed was the problem. Floors for Less has chosen to walk away from our non-heating floor. After many months of delays, excuses and inaccurate problem diagnosis, Floors for Less has failed to resolve this problem and has wasted our time and money.

Floors For Less is my go-to place for flooring. My first interaction was when I needed flooring for the front of one of my stores - they had, by far, the best price on a great product (5-years later and it looks great in a high traffic store), and install was painless. My second was when I needed some flooring for home - again the best price, and no pressure when I said I was laying it myself - just advice.
Most recently, I needed 1500-2000 sq ft of flooring for a new store. They presented a better product than others in the area at a lower price, gave great advice on the subtleties of flooring in a high traffic store and what we should pay attention to (wear layer, glue-down vs. floating, grain, etc.) and Dave is always a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

We had baseboards and flooring installed in multiple rooms, they didn't install the materials I ordered and paid for, I paid for primed pine baseboards to match the rest of the house, they installed particle board. What a crock! They didn't even finish installing the baseboards in the laundry room, which we discovered when replacing our appliances a year later!
They nailed baseboard a foot back on the side walls, but didn't continue it down the wall or behind the washer and dryer! But I was charged for linear foot installation, so I was charged for the full amount. Also, they cut the floor boards too short and there's about a one inch gap between the floor boards and the transition strip. I called them at the end of May to have them come out and look at these issues, now I've been jerked around after 6 appointments and cancelled on again today, it's August!
I seriously do not want to continue to take off of work to sit at my house for a contractor that doesn't show up for 8 hours. Six different times with the manager and contractor! How can your service be this bad?

We had a great experience at Floors For Less and I highly recommend them. Dave, the owner, went above and beyond for us and I'm super glad I went with these guys over a larger company. When putting significant money into anything, I'm a researcher. We looked at maybe 30 different laminate flooring samples from different stores and every time we found a sample we liked, I looked into the company some more and always seemed to find that a large number of people hated the company and their product after installing it.
We were having a hard time finding a brand that generally got good reviews and that's when we stumbled upon Floors For Less. It was just Dave there when I first met him and we ended up talking about different companies and his 10+ years of experience with flooring. He led us to his go-to company, BerryAlloc, and we really loved the way they looked, how much higher in quality they appeared to be, and that they were priced more reasonably compared to the other 12mm thickness samples we were looking at.
We decided to go with one of the BerryAlloc laminate flooring. Later that day Dave called and told us that of all the samples the distributor gave him, that one was on backorder and we'd have to wait several months to get it. A little disappointed, we decided to go see if there was another color we liked, but before we could even get back there to look, Dave had pushed back on the distributor and made them find some for us.
Next thing we know they are shipping some up from Georgia at no cost to us and it got in the following week. We are working on installing it right now so I can't comment on the long term look and durability, but as far as the purchasing process goes I was happy to have found a company that is knowledgeable, and really cares about their customers.
He didn't have to call around to fight for us and find our flooring, but I'm very grateful he did. Now I have the peace of mind knowing that I got a quality product, at a reasonable price, and went through a company that cares and will stand behind their product and service.

Just had our floor replaced in our living room. Went with a laminate floor that looks amazing. The guys were very helpful and efficient to work around my crazy schedule. With four dogs I don't let just anyone come in our home. Great prices and wonderful service. I will look to them when we replace our kitchen floor.
