I have now used National Carpet and Flooring to do work in my home twice. Both experiences have been exceptional. My sales person Joyce was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, very friendly, whenever I had a question she got back to me very quickly. When it came to the actual installation, the team they sent over lead by Fabio was great. They worked quickly and they really paid attention to the details. I could not be happier.

I had a great experience with National Carpet and Flooring! Elaine was the person who helped me and she was fantastic. She showed me a variety or carpet and flooring and helped me pick out the perfect flooring and carpet for my home. The two different crews who did the work were great too. Very professional and finished before the expected time to install. My house looks fantastic!

Ann Valcourt was VERY helpful. She was handling a few clients at the same time, but she made sure that we were looked after. I am not a great decision maker and she weighed in and made the buying process so simple. When Ann came to measure, she was pleasant, professional, funny and nice to chat with. At one point I wanted to show someone the carpet, I called the store and the gentleman who answered text pictures immediately. I have sent a few friends their way and would continue to. THANK YOU National Carpet Staff!

In my experience, if you are looking for a vendor that can follow up on their own commitments, you have much better options for both quality and your money in the area. Given how close National Carpet is to me, I have kept looking to do business with them for the past ~15 years. I do enough flooring and site work that every few years, I wonder if I am missing out on something, and go back in. However, each time I have gone in to review a job with the sales team, either the quality of materials recommended hasn't matched up to some of the other flooring stores or I found some additional charges I could avoid.
My most recent experience this summer was negative enough that I felt others deserved the warning. At the end of June, I went in and met with Elaine with a pretty straight forward replacement job to be completed by end of summer. She was telling me how busy they are, but still was patient and spent time showing me options. They took a deposit for a measure, and were good about working me into their "hectic" measure schedule the following week.
The follow-up after the "hectic" measure has been unacceptable. After missing the end-of-week from measure to get me quote, I ended up both emailing and calling in later the following week. I received a bunch of apologies from Elaine about how busy they are but was promised I would have "ASAP" that week. 5 weeks later, still no quote, email, phone call, smoke signals, text messages, or communications back.
I recently called back to speak with the store manager (Linda?) to get a credit back for the measure charge, speaking with both Anne and then Elaine again, and told I would get a call back. Nothing. Linda must be busy. I can say at least they are consistent about this. I just filed a chargeback instead with the credit card company. They can pass that back to National Carpet and they can now take the hit with the transaction processor.
The alternative experience - tired of chasing a vendor I am paying, I ended up going up the street into Nashua and met with Greg at FloorMe, where he showed me a few options, picked one, took my rough measurements, and he gave me a preliminary quote all within 20mins of stepping foot in the store. He came out to the job site a few days later, confirmed the measurements, and I had a final quote (no charge for that either).
We scheduled the install, no drama. I didn't get a story about how busy they are each time, which they clearly were, and was quite responsive on both phone and email through-out the process. In my experience with flooring vendors, this is an example for how a normal flooring purchase should go. Don't settle for your money, we have much better options in the area. Good luck to you.

What nice people, I dealt with Lynda and Ann and they were so friendly, helpful and knowledgable. There prices were more then fair, purchased laminate hardwood and carpet from them. The 2 gentlemen Tom and Steve who came to install our carpets were so caring and paid every attention to detail. I would definitely use them again.

We have used National Carpet several times of the years. From new carpeting in our closet, master bedroom and guest bedroom the product and service provided have been exemplary. Recently, we purchased vinyl floor planking for our basement, the finished product is excellent. We will be enjoying our finished basement for years to come.

We just had new carpeting installed in 2 bedrooms and the stairs and were so pleased with the professional result. The personal service in the store and expertise made the process very smooth. Pricing was fair and the installers worked diligently to install the carpets with precision. They left everything spotless. Thank you!

Heard good things about them from friends who had used them for carpeting so I gave them a call to quote against Home Depot. Even with Home Depot offering free install, National Carpet was less expensive and had a wider range of carpeting and padding to choose from. The two older gentlemen installing the carpet did a terrific job and were done in one day with 3 bedrooms + closets, hallways and stairs.
The only negative was that there were some scuffs/chipped paint in a few areas (door frames, stair banister), but that seems to be the norm with carpet installation. Very pleasant to deal with
