Everything was fantastic from start to finish. Hannah was very helpful and their installers did a great job - they were quick, clean and very polite. The best part was they were several thousand dollars less expensive than their competition. I would definitely recommend them.

Husband had laid a rough oak tongue-and-groove floor and we hadn't a clue how to finish it. We'd heard about Bona and I was nervous that we are not pros. We dropped in on Gennett for advice, because they sell Bona. Without trying to dissuade us or sell us or control us, they helped us select an alternative product that will be much easier for us to apply. Thank you so much, guys! Thank you to everyone at Gennett Lumber for your help. We ordered hardwood from someone else. It arrived 4 weeks after the promised date. When it arrived it had to acclimate. The installers arrived only to discover the wood had not been milled properly. Fortunately we had an experienced installer who suggested we have the wood replaced. He did not want his reputation associated with a bad product.

The replacement finally arrived, and it too was just as bad. A neighbor told us how happy they were with their floors and suggested we visit Gennett Lumber. OMG we are so glad we did. The right lumber was fortunately in stock and delivered immediately. they helped with stain color selection and provided the best service yet. Everyone form sales to delivery was friendly and helpful. If you are considering wood floors, go straight to Gennett Lumber. You'll save yourself headaches, and. their price was lower saving us some money too! Very happy now.

I built a custom home and went to Gennett Lumber for our flooring. We met with Karen and she was very knowledgeable and helped us to pick the perfect flooring for our new home. The install was smooth and the finish turned out beautiful! We were so pleased with Gennett we just used them again in our next home. Once again they did not disappoint. They refinished the existing hardwoods and added new hardwoods upstairs. The project looks great! I would highly recommend them and will use them for all of my flooring needs in the future.

Used to be the only reason you would go is that guys in the warehouse were, at least, pleasant. Now the Sour attitude from the office has infected the warehouse so badly, some employees are not tolerable. Catawba Hardwoods, better prices, great sales staff and they deliver. As far as flooring goes.good luck.

Gennett Lumber Company is full of a hardworking staff ready to assist with anyone's needs! They have a wonderful selection of cabinet and furniture grade lumber as well as hardwood flooring! I would recommend them to anyone looking for new floors or working on a project!

I purchased over 1,400 sq. ft. of pre-finished oak flooring about three years ago. They had the best pricing in WNC, and they delivered my flooring in my home for a very reasonable charge. The installation went smoothly without any quality issues and I also purchased my stair steps & Risers from them which have proved to be extremely durable. I learned of Gennett through a neighbor who had a similar positive experience. My floor still looks the same as the day it was installed. Very pleasant and professional staff.

I purchased an entire flooring package of pre-finished flooring from Gennett. It was a tavern grade, and I asked Karen multiple times if this was shorts. She assured me that it was not shorts. I suppose that over 70 percent shorts would sustain her claim unless you are on the receiving end. She would not consider making the purchase right. If I could go back, they would have never got one dime of my hard earned money

I needed help with office hard wood floors and was looking for a specific stain. I decided to check out Gennett and the lady knew EXACTLY what I was looking for! I explained the situation and she took me back and showed me the example sample of what I was looking for. Incredible place! So knowledgeable!

We just bought about 6 boards of walnut wood planks to make table. We were impressed with the staff and how friendly they were to us even with our small order. The price is well below retail stores. We will certainly look forward to coming back even we had to travel from SC. It was worth the trip.
