Very quick to get the sale done on my "new" wood floors. Showed up on time - but every carton had been opened and every board (every single board) had a flaw. Someone had re-packed them with bad boards. TrueHardwoods is selling second-hand rejects as "new". Sent them a bunch of pictures. Now, can't get them to fix or help - and it's been a full week! Received one cryptic message "let me check on the status of your claim" - then nothing.
Buyer beware! Update: After their response, I did call and I did get directly to the owner. He's currently working on the claim. Initial impression, pretty happy with the escalation and his response - hoping for the best. Will update and adjust review and rating as things progress. Second update: In lieu of a return/claim, the owner offered to send us a second shipment (at his cost) to help us finish the project.
Once done, we'd have to simply return the equivilent of the initial order (he would cover the costs to ship back). That was a generous offer, and we viewed it as above and beyond to help resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the second shipment was worse than the first (two new pics attached). It's important to note - we knew this was a discontinued product (which is why we were buying online in the first place).
I think what we ran into is, this was the "bottom of the barrel" and the only stuff they could find was the leftovers and returns. Ultimately, they did supply us with enough boards to finish the project and we are thankful for that. We were in a pinch, and they worked hard to help us out.

I bought Somerset hardwood floors at a price that was not matched because the salesperson guaranteed that their wood was the best quality. I received my shipment and the wood was seriously warped. I took pictures and was assured by employee that I would receive a discount. I called several times and nothing was done. I was only transferred to management's voicemail and was never called back by management. This is the worst company to buy flooring from online. Terrible customer service. Save your money. Buyer Beware

Absolutely horrible customer service, they told me they had the product to make a sale and then once they had my money put me on the back burner and product was back ordered, then 24 hours before job they told me they forgot to put certian materials in quote and charged me another 120$ now they are here doing the job and just told me I need another 250$ in materials and they would've known that if they would have come out to measure the job (like they said they would originally).
The whole reason I went with this company was they got the flooring at the best price but that's not the case once they keep adding on up charges the day of the job. When we talk to management about all this they actually get an attitude and tell you "it happens" and don't actually do anything. Not to mention changing the scheduling and not returning calls, they really are a joke. AVOID THIS COMPANY

Similar to a review below, I ordered and paid for flooring on August 18. I received an order confirmation but no details about delivery. August 24, I sent an email asking about delivery. I received a prompt response from Jordan that it "looks like" they would receive the flooring on 8/26 "ready to ship out." On September 1, I emailed again for status. September 3 I got a response from Jordan saying it was "due in Tuesday" (9/8) and would be sent to me then.
On 9/10 I sent another email checking on status and Jordan responded with "Get this, we went to go pick up your order and about 15 others at the mill on Tuesday. We were turned away because 'we don't have it all ready, can you come back tomorrow" along with an explanation about how far the mill is, and an assurance they would pick it up the following Tuesday.
At that point, I specifically asked for confirmation they had the flooring (this flooring is no longer in production and I need to match it to existing floors). Jordan replied on 9/10 that "they have it and it is ready to go." On 9/11, Jordan responded to another email from me advising that the projected delivery to my home would be 9/28. I understood this to be an estimate and, out of an abundance of caution, rescheduled and cut short a vacation with my family to ensure I would be here. 9/23 I sent a follow up email to confirm and Jordan responded "I'll check it out." 9/28 I had not received a reply so I sent another message and Jordan responded he was waiting to hear from the CSR rep. 9/29 I inquired again. 9/30 Jordan responded "at this point I don't have faith in Armstrong, " advising Armstrong is saying 10/14, and concluding with "production is just ridiculous." Production?
My floor is no longer produced and you confirmed on 9/10 that it was definitely on hand at the mill 4 1/2 hours away. I submitted a dispute through my credit card company as I have no confidence in TrueHardwoods having the integrity to initiate and issue a refund. Now I have lost 6 weeks of time, cut short a vacation, and have to hope that some other vendors still have a portion of the flooring I need.
I went to TrueHardwoods because no one else had the square footage I needed and I thought it would be easier than ordering from multiple vendors. Big mistake. UPDATE: The company says they have issued a refund and I will take them at their word for that - I should know for certain within 3 days. However, the owner's response is trying to blame "2020" for the delays.
This is not really an accurate or acceptable response. Just convenient. I suspect the owner needs to spend more time managing service to prevent bad reviews and less time managing and responding to bad reviews.

I ordered Bruce Turlington hardwood from TrueHardwood. The price is good and the ordering process was quick and smooth. I was not sure how soon I will get it so I used the chat option on the website. Alex got back to me immediately and gave me an accurate estimate based on delivery address and the product. It's 9:30 pm on Saturday night and I am happily surprised as how prompt he responded to my questions.

This was the WOREST experience I have ever had when doing home renovation. We purchased our hardwoods 3 weeks ago with this company because they said they had them instock. A few days later after we payed in full for the full job we were told it was on back order. After wait about 2 weeks we had to call and hunt down our sales person to find out where our floors were.
So after we finally get ahold of someone to come install our floors, the day before they were supposed to come out our sales rep calls and tell us she "forgot" to charge us for the glue. so after we paid in full we were charged another $150. When the workers finally got to us and started putting the flooring in they told us we need a $250 T mold that we weren't awareof for the job to be done. it was literally one thing after another, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. On top of they the management was extremely rude and did nothing to make things right for their poor communication.

Have been chasing after this company since February to replace stair nosing that clearly did not match the flooring. Since that initial it has been and endless run around with Alex Ingram, the customer service agent and his boss Jordan Stevens. They don't respond to e-mails, ignore voicemail, the few times they have responded they have made promises they haven't kept.
The flooring itself is beautiful, but I wish I'd spent a little more and gotten the same thing locally. This hassle isn't worth the savings. Do yourself a favor. AVOID THIS COMPANY! One star is still far to good

The professionals at DWF True Hardwoods gave us first-class customer service. We had a great end to end experience from placing our order at competitive pricing to receiving the beautiful hardwood flooring which we can't wait to see installed. Alex, our representative, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He handled us with great care which was incredibly important to us having elected to order from the Georgia store from another state.
We appreciated DWF's hands-on approach. My calls and questions we're promptly answered. The timeline from the placement of the order to receipt was very reasonable. We even enjoyed the young man from the shipping company who went the extra mile to help us unload the flooring when it arrived. Our experience was exceptional, which is rare these days. Thanks again DWF!

This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is non-existent. They never once called me back when I received a box of damaged hardwood. I called them a total of 9 times during an 11-day period. They never once picked up the phone to call me back. I was promised a replacement box, but it never happened. This company is dishonest and does not know what the word customer service is. Once they have your money, the communication ends! Do not buy from them. Not reputable!

Charles T. Holbert of True Hardwoods has knowingly taken the customers money and then closed his business. No refunds and no product. He has likely been planning this fraud for a while because these things don't just happen over night. I've complained to Gordon County Sheriff's Dept, BBB, Georgia Consumer Affairs, the FTC, and if I can find out what church he is a respectable member of I will complain to his Preacher. Hopefully Amercan Express can help resolve this issue because I am retired and do not have the resources to just absorb the loss. Charles Holbert also runs other businesses around Calhoun GA so the consumer should be on the watch for him

I was at a designer showroom in San Francisco and decided on IndusParquet 1/2" Engineered Brazilian Pecan 5" to floor an entire ranch house we just bought in Sonoma County. Unfortunately the showroom wouldn't sell to us or our contractor. So I Googled and found True Hardwoods. Their price was about 40% lower than the showroom estimated they would sell it for.
We ordered about 1,400 square feet and had a great order experience. The wood was delivered yesterday and the shipper they used ran quite late and didn't communicate. When I let John at True Hardwood know, he immediately responded and made it right for us. We only opened one box so far and it looks great. I'll update this once the flooring is installed but I am very impressed with their pricing and great customer service. UPDATE: Flooring is now installed and looks amazing! Our installer said there was very little waste. Very happy with the order!
