I found King Carpet to be my ONLY choice. They are honest, knowledgeable, friendly, and reasonable. When you make a large purchase that you don't make often, you need to be guided. They come to your home after you have made initial potential choices. I have been to some of the larger chains and was taken advantage of. I highly recommend King Carpet. You won't be sorry.

** 9 month review ** We have noticed sections of our carpet that is bowing and coming up, issues that we had King Carpet come out to repair. A friend of ours had noticed that the carpet was also run in different directions when transitioning from one room to another. Something that unfortunately we'll have to live with. There are also random areas in which carpet padding was left out, leaving a noticeable indentation in the carpet in those areas.

Original review: Our experience with King Carpet today was phenomenal. Prices for the carpet and installation couldn't be beaten by another company. We are thrilled and they have customers for life.

Great overall experience. Very pleased with the work these guys had done for us. They showed up on time and were very professional and the work they had done was more than satisfactory. Any flooring or carpet we need in the future, we will call King Carpet.

We purchased carpeting for our family room from these folks, and we were very impressed both by the salesman's patient and relaxed approach, and especially by the folks who came out to install our new carpet. They were prompt, respectful of us and our home, and did a quick and flawless install, working around several problem areas. We recommend them highly!

I recently had a water breach that affected all 3 floors of a fully furnished townhouse. I had 2 weeks to rebuild the entire place-Sheetrock, tape, painting, rugs, vanities, sinks, faucets, cleaning, etc. Time and time again, contractors and suppliers kept saying it can't be down and could not tell me how it was going to get done. Well full renovations were completed in exactly 14 days.

All because a few contractors and suppliers believed and really stepped up to make it happen. Vinnie and the team at King Carpet really stepped up, delivered high quality carpets and padding and were almost $1,000 cheaper in price then a competitor Thank You much, great job Highly recommend

Just had carpet installed by King Carpet in our living room and basement. We put a deposit down on a Saturday, they came out the following Wednesday, and installed that Friday. The quality of the carpet for the price appears to be excellent and they did a great job on the installation, can't even find the seams. This is our third time ordering carpet from them, and we will definitely return.

We shopped around and came back to King Carpet Mart- our local small business. After having Empire flooring show up for our initial carpet installation with the wrong padding and not accept our method of payment that we used for our deposit (Vanguard money market check) we cancelled the order and went right over to King Carpet. Lucky for us, they were able to install within two days!

So happy with how it turned out, have a higher quality carpet and comfy padding! Thanks to Stu for taking the time to help me decide on carpet and then getting us installed right away!

Stopped by King Carpet Mart about a month ago looking for a carpet and was greeted by an employee at the door who asked a few questions on what we were looking for and quickly showed us a few samples - one of which was perfect. They were up front with schedule, padding, and cost (which was significantly better than Home Depot / Lowes pricing). We agreed to the service, paid half, they came out a week later to measure, and the following week they installed in half they time they quoted for. They even installed a transition strip between rooms for no additional cost.

Purchase a bedroom carpet and received a great price and exceptional service from the salesman and installers. No pressure while browsing the many rows of price-marked and sized remnants. Salesman explained the delivery and installation process upon purchase. Two installers arrived as scheduled. They removed, installed and cleaned up within 90 minutes.

I was impressed with their service and how clean they left the job. They are a great asset to your business. Thank you for the outstanding experience that is rare in today's business world.

We shopped major retailers and national co. And finally got the work done locally for less money, better customer service and more timely. Our floors were old and uneven but you can't even tell now!

Outstanding! I highly recommend this company over any competitor! We needed to match existing hardwood into two additional rooms, and King delivered beautifully. Their service is excellent, everything was done exactly on time as promised, we did not have to chase them down for anything, and the floors look beautiful. Plus their installers are longtime King employees, not contractors like some other places use, so we felt much more comfortable about that.

My only suggestion is that they change their name to "King Carpet And Flooring, " since we had no idea they do hardwood floors! It was just dumb luck that in searching reviews of the two other flooring companies we visited, we stumbled on the King website and discovered they do more than carpet.

I really dont like to share negative experiences on yelp but I have to share this one. I re did my den in my home. I went to King carpet in King of Prussia. I gave the owner Stuart the measurements and he sold me a remnant piece i thought was good quality. He never mentioned i would have a seam and I was not too happy with that but the installer did a good job and I can't see it.

But here is where the story gets crazy, I let my dogs outside for a moment and was going to put my younger dog in the bedroom to keep her out of the way, before I could get her (she is extremely friendly) the one installer opened the door and she came in, I was in the other room when I heard her scream like she was hit by a car. I ran in and said what happened to my dog and the one installer said she got scared.

I have had this dog for almost 2 years now and never heard her cry. So I talked to the owner and said someone did something to my dog because later I found a cut on her. He kind of blew it off but I was pretty pissed. I know someone did something to my dog because the one installer pretended he didn't speak English, but at the end he all of a sudden spoke perfect English to the other installer.

So I have a carpet that I was told would fit perfectly in the room yet it has a seam and one of the installers hurt my dog in my home. So I still try to be reasonable, and ask the owner after paying him in full, for something I didn't want, to put the left over carpet in the upstairs hallway and he said he didn't want to deal with me because I accused his installers of hurting my dog.

What an obnoxious con man. And I spoke to 3 different people there all full of themselves and obnoxious. Buisness must be great for them. As if I don't know someone else who would install my carpet. Don't go to these guys they are terrible customer service people. Very disappointed!

Outstanding Experience! After have 2 major companies mislead us and delay us by weeks, we found King Carpets who had what we needed in-stock and were quick to start the job. The crew worked all day in the heat to get our floors installed and they are stunning! Even finished them with moldings and quarter-round! Plus the price was way less than Empire, Lowes and another local competitor. Stuart & Steve really came through for us!

They did a great job installing the carpet in the family room but when they pulled the old carpet from a bedroom that was freshly painted the guy left dirty hand prints on the walls and he brought a vase stand and scratched a piece of furniture he wedged it between the wall and window sill! They came back and cleaned the stains to the best they could but it is noticeable.

There were two things that kept this good experience from being a great experience. 1). They delivered average padding when I had ordered a vapor barrier padding. (Thy went back and got it, wasting more than an hour of their time) 2). They didn't vacuum when they were done, so the first impression is unfinished and more work for guess who? (Since the house was empty and moving furniture (we had none) was included in the standard installation, the installers had a deal. The installers did a good job--they were quiet and hardworking and could do all the rooms at once since, as I said before, the house was not furnished.)

Not cheap, but these guys really were super on the service during installation, including furniture moving and disposal of the old carpets (included in the cost). The old carpets had apparently been screwed into place instead of stapled, so these poor guys had to take forever getting out the old screws. We discovered a broken step when they pulled the carpet off the stairs and they worked around it while my guy ran to the hardware store and repaired it so everything would be fixed before they recarpeted the stairs.
