Brian and the whole crew at BJS hardwood floor provided exceptional, profession service! Our hardwood floors have never looked better! Brian explained the process and really helped us to understand everything they were doing. This company is hardworking, professional and patient with their clients-I never felt I was bothering them and all my questions and concerns were answered. Brian was even able to install the rounded piece of quarter round at the bottom of the staircase that I've had three other hardwood floor companies tell me they couldn't do it! Highly recommend!

We had a very unfortunate experience. A project that should have lasted a few weeks lasted months. Brian couldn't get along with other contractors, and my wife (a physician who was dealing with patients) even had to come to the house once on an emergency basis to break up a physical altercation. Worst yet, our cabinetry was damaged, old hardwood flooring was removed so violently it damaged our basement ceiling, our railing lost most of its structural integrity / stability, our doors were removed and then re-installed in such a way that they were not aligned, and there were many aspects of the project we literally had to review multiple times with Bryan, and pester him about, before they were completed. And, in several cases, once they were completed, there were serious quality control issues. Also, it is standard, as I understand it, in the industry, to plug HVAC vents. Bryan never did this, and as a result, wood got into our furnace, and ruined it.
We had to spend over $2,000 on a new furnace. And then Bryan denied responsibility. One of the hardest parts of the project was the installation of new banisters. We literally had to review this aspect of the project tens of times with Bryan, and still, as mentioned earlier, the end result was such that the railing in our house wobbles substantially.
He hired an attorney, to whom we sent a detailed list of deficiencies (and pictures) with respect to the project, and then both he and his attorney went radio silent on us and ignored us for months. This was an experience that we hope to not have again.
