Nice showroom and tv commercials are entertaining.our sales lady barb was less than enthusiastic and acted as if she were doing us a huge favor by letting us pick out samples. Gabriel was up to par and his Grandmother would have approved. Scheduling and install were flawless and we are thrilled with our selections.if we didn't absolutely love our carpet we would have left out of general principle as our initial impressions were less than favorable.maybe because I had a stain on my shirt but my money is still green.

I would NEVER buy anything from this company. We ordered custom drapes from them and it has been a nightmare from the day we placed the order. First, the salesman, Joe, charged us $500 more of a deposit than was written on the invoice and it was never refunded because we'll "owe that in the end anyway." Then my "rush order" came 4 months later because they couldn't locate the drapes.

They admitted they were supposed to be in the warehouse but couldn't find them. We had been calling non-stop about them and getting a return call back is extremely difficult. But I also doubt if we hadn't kept badgering them the drapes would've ever gotten here at all. Finally they were installed this past Thursday and they are too long.

The installer showed us the paper with his measurements and then the paper of what Capitol Carpet inputted and they wrote down the wrong measurements in their system. They have yet to call us or return a call to rectify the matter. Seriously run the other way!

I had LVT put over tile throughout the main living areas and kitchen and also had new baseboards installed. The crew worked very hard and completed the job in a day. They were courteous and politely addressed any concerns/questions I had throughout the day. Two days later I had carpet installed in two bedrooms (also by Capitol Carpet) which left two new thresholds damaged. Replacement parts were ordered and they were installed about 10 days later.

I did not give five stars because when one person tried to move my very large and heavy dining room table by dragging it across the tile floor, one of the legs snapped off. I'm glad it wasn't a family heirloom. The head installer glued and screwed it back into place, but it was a totally avoidable situation. Homeowners want to know their belongings are treated with care when being moved around.

Very pleased with the service. The installation was very smooth and professional. The crew came in, removed furniture, old carpet, installed new carpet, put everything back, and cleaned up after. Courteous and efficient.

I cannot say enough about how good this company was! They were amazing in helping me pick out my selection. Very competitive pricing, especially for a family owned business **important to support local business**. Everything they said happened on time, there removal of my old finishes and install of the new finishes was seamless, they even cleaned up everything and vacuumed any mess.

We loved the one we picked but one always gets a bit nervous until things finally get installed. In this case service measurement went smoothly, installation done perfectly and quickly. First Nick DeLoreto runs the Boynton Beach office - he's extraordinary! Great purchase experience. Good price. Great install experience + the floors are lovely and the advice the sales professional gave us on design/color options was so perfect. 5 stars. We broke the job into two increments. The first increment the moisture barrier was not installed neither the company management nor us knew this.

So we had a problem with moisture from the foundation affecting the vinyl planks. They came out, identified the issue and the company is paying for the whole thing! The really stand by there promises!

Gabriel recently helped me select carpet at the Boynton Beach Capitol Carpet & Tile location. He was patient and diligently worked to find the right color and texture. I ordered it that day and was pleased it was such a pleasant experience. Several weeks later the carpet arrived and Gabriel called to say it was in the warehouse and the installer would contact us for installation.

Today it was installed. It looks beautiful. The installers were good and they made sure it was perfect. I highly recommend Gabriel as your go to guy at Capitol Carpet & Tile. D.E.T.

I hired capital carpet to install Hunter Douglas luminette motorized blinds. It was a very poor experience so far. it's just far too involved to go into the specific details but Lou the owner of caiptol carpet told me to contact Hunter Douglas. Lou said Hunter Douglas always prefers to hear from the customers but they have done absolutely nothing with the problems that I've had.

I even put in a complaint with the florida attorney general's office and Hunter Douglas has done nothing. They have blamed their inability to resolve their luminette motorized blind issues all onto covid and claiming they don't have anybody to look at my issues in my home. so as far as I'm concerned it's basically back to Capital One carpet and tile.

So far nothing. I would stay away from Hunter Douglas or anybody that sells their motorized blinds. look at the better Business bureau reports on Hunter Douglas before you buy anything from the Hunter Douglas line. I'm looking for other avenues besides the florida attorney general's office to seek resolve

I will start with the positive - the final product and installation of our wood floors is great! We love the look and the installation crew was professional and did a great job! However, the process of getting to this end result was frustrating. We ordered through Jacob in the Boca Raton location and when our original product came in defective and was already being installed, the installers brought it to our attention.

When calling Jacob and us recognizing it was a manufacturer defect and no fault of his own, he was still unprofessional, rude, and never once offered an apology for the issue. Our new product came in and was installed a few weeks later. Jacob called to collect the payment balance. My husband thanked him for his efforts in ultimately getting us the flooring finalized, and instead of thanking us for our business or acknowledging the frustrations, he simply replied "yup".

After spending thousands of dollars on a product, customer service is key. Jacob was curt and offered zero understanding or courtesy. For that alone, I would not recommend this company. Flooring is a HUGE investment and with other options available in the local community, take your business elsewhere, where it is appreciated!

I had a GREAT experience working with the Team at Capitol. I've been in Sales for 35 years and they did ALL the right things here. patience, responsive, professionalism. they were perfect. Their installers were clean and quick. Gabriel and Rich made me feel like I was the most important customer they had. I will recommend them to Family and Friends for sure. Thanks again!

Just had my job completed. Wow, a 2 day job turned into a 5 day job and I still have a mess in my condo unit. Why you ask it took so long to complete. Well, if the installation crew works a part time day, the job goes on and on. I never heard so many excuses from a contractor then I heard from Capital Carpet & Tile. A different crew every day. No continuity of the job, how it finally was completed is a miracle.

The sales presentation was great, Nick was a very good salesman. However, when we called him to help move this job a long, we heard more excuses. The installation crew was sloppy, glue on my wood entrance floor and on the closet doors of my office where the tile was being installed. Prior to using a grinding machine to cut the tile, they failed to install plastic to protect my furniture, TV on the wall and items in my closet.

What a mess. The Installation Lead guy promised a clean job, they failed to tell the actual installers. No respect for my property. I requested that the Installation Manager call me, no calls. I have all the text messages I sent to Reubens, the Lead Installation guy that came to my house, promised an easy, clean, and timely job. Never happened. And I still have a mess in my house that I need to hire someone to clean.

One last bit of information. This job of 182 sq. feet was a test prior to contracting with Capital Carpet & Tile for a 1100 sq. foot job. Guess what, Capital will never see that job of over $ 15,000.

Insist on having an installer come to your home so you get a complete estimate. After an estimator came to my home, on the day of installation I had a BIG surprise. My entire floor needed prep, at a an additional cost of $2100. Can't stop the job because the flooring has already been ordered. I am pleased with the installation, but poor customer service and questionable business practice.

Amazingly outstanding customer service rarely found these days. Our salesman Nick was incredibly helpful and went waaay above and beyond to make sure I found my solution. I probably had the smallest order ever but they treated me as if I had just replaced all the flooring in my home. I would highly recommend this company and use them again!

I am not giving a 1 Star because they did honor a flooring warranty on wood that had dark spots emerging due to water coming up through our slab. Alan, the store manager in Boca, was very helpful and did facilitate this for us, and we are appreciative of that. However, I wish I would have been told by them in the beginning that putting wood on a first floor in Florida isn't the best idea.

That being said, the replacement process was awful. We were told the 1 bedroom that needed the damaged wood removed and replaced with tile that looked like wood would take 2-3 days total to complete the job. The demo alone took that long. They came late and left early. It was jack hammering and sawing for 3 days and they made no effort to control the mess.

No plastic put up, and literally no attempt to clean it. The foreman actually informed me that they are not a cleaning crew and it is my problem. My husband complained to the foreman after they left their lunch garbage in our garage and we had to clean that up. We cleaned for hours with inch thick dust on blinds, fans and baseboards. Weeks later, I am still cleaning up the fine construction dust all over my house.

It was so much and so thick, it actually burned out our dyson ball vacuum. Even when they finished the job, they didn't even try to clean up the grouting residue on the floor. Literally no attempt or care. Again, I was told this is my issue. The work they did was nice on the install and they did respond to all calls. They were rough in the closet on the shelving and drawer system I have and I had to have it repaired.

I also had to have the entire room repainted, which I was not planning to do, because the jack hammering of the wood marked up the walls and base boards. This review made me really torn. Overall, I would likely not use Capitol again. They are expensive, and I found them to be very disrespectful of our living space. Maybe it was like this because we were a warranty replacement job?

Anthony the Sales Guy and the Installers were the best. Very diligent and caring and their work ethic was excellent. I would highly recommend this company. They were very dependable and conscientious and aimed to please. I would definitely use them again. Norm G.

The quality of the installation and professionalism of the crew was outstanding, as was the initial help in selecting the tile. The issue here arose when tile arrived for installation and I was asked to 'sign off' for final installation. I raised concerns to Capital Tile crew leader on site that I was not satisfied that this was color I ordered.

It looked darker and more beige than what we had seen in store (and what I showed him on my phone). He convinced me this was the specified tile and color. When installation was done (we were out of house for two weeks due to dust, etc.), I became more convinced it was different than samples, but knew there was little recourse. It's a beautiful floor and installed well, but when the owner of Capital Tile called me for feedback on project some weeks later (a nice gesture), I shared that I was happy overall, but that color match was an issue and that I believed sample in store is not representative of this actual tile color.

She promised to follow up with store, but I never heard back. I called local store manager directly and told him about the issue, and he promised to have our salesperson (Anthony) bring sample over to our house for comparison. I explained I was not looking for any recourse other than making sure this doesn't happen to next person. Again, I never heard back.

Now weeks later I just called again, and salesperson claimed no knowledge of the issue. until later in same call he changed story and said he thought I had brought sample of my extra tile into store and issue was resolved (which was not the case). After 3 phone calls I finally have promised appointment to come over and bring sample to my house to verify match. Bottom line, they've turned a reasonably satisfied customer into an unhappy one from their lack of follow-up and unwillingness to own and follow-up on the issue.

What a great experience. Todd Parness our sales associate went above and beyond personally measuring our new house to fit into our busy schedule. The price was fair, the installation hassle free, and we love our new carpet. As your ad states " why buy from anyone else?". No pressure and fine quality carpet. Todd and Capitol Carpet way exceeded our expectations. Highly highly recommend without reservation.

We had already found the tile we wanted at another store but being new to the area wanted to shop around. We stopped in and found the same tile but it was quite a bit more. The sales person was helpful and professional. He told me they would match the price for the tile and also convinced me that their installation was the best in the area. It was quite a bit more than the competition but we decided to go with them.

It was a mistake. The installer showed between 9-10 each day and left for a couple hours each day for "class". He then left by 4-4:30 each day. He did not respect our house. He made a mess not only in the rooms he was tiling but also in the hallways, garage and yard. Since we were just moving into the house we had had it freshly painted. We had grout on the walls, baseboards, and in the hallway on the walls.

I understand it's a messy job but this was beyond expected. The Tiler refused to clean up his mess in the garage and outside so the movers could move our stuff in. We had to move it. I called the store and reported the issue. The next day they sent out a different tiler. They said he would paint and fix the mess. He did compete the job and was much better. However, his idea of clean up was scraping the baseboards and walls.

I told him to stop as he was taking off the paint and damaging the wood. I did not hear back from the store until they wanted payment. When I told him the paint was not fixed he said "but I can assume you will pay this in full. " I told him yes I would but I was very disappointed in the installation. He offered to deduct $100 from the total but this is not close to what it cost us to have the painters come back. If you want to just buy tile it's a good place but I do not recommend using their installers. They make a large mess in many areas and don't respect your home.

Not happy at all. Went into store and ordered vertical blinds. They were quick to take my money, and promised install within 10 days. At day 7 and they haven't even measured yet. They supposedly lost the order. Now it is measure day. Guy was supposed to be here at 9:00 am and just called to say he won't be here until this afternoon. Wondering if I should cancel the whole thing!

After writing a negative review, the owner of Capitol Tile called us directly and graciously rectified the situation. This is how all business owners should act!

I visited the Glades Road Boca store for laminate flooring for 3 bedrooms. Was greeted courteously and shown various samples. Salesperson told us he would personally come out and measure and we could bring samples with us. We selected two or three possibilities, and were told to arrange for the bedrooms to be measured. Returned to the store. We asked for our salesperson and told that he was off.

I said he wanted to measure our rooms, and was asked how I wanted to pay the $35 fee. Was a little taken aback because i was not told that there was any fee, but I paid it and someone, -- not our salesperson-- came out to measure. Returned to the store a third time. Our salesperson was there; wasn't quite sure which floor we had selected; asked if we had taken home samples and reminded him that he had not given us any. Told him I thought I needed to shop some more and asked for the measurements, He handed me his business card with the total on it instead of the schematic I had paid for.

I had to insist several times to receive the actual sheet with the dimensions of each room. It tuned out that the measurements done by Capitol were wrong. They measured 470 feet. Actual was 502 feet. I ended up buying elsewhere. Got equal quality laminate and installation for $1,000 less than Capitol's estimate.

Over the past 40 years I have learned that the absolute lowest deal isn't always the best deal. I spoke with Lou (owner) about a recent offer and he provided his best offer. Knowing his past installations as well as being available, we decided to take his offer which was a little more costly. The installation went off without a hitch. The kids are so happy that they both have new Mohawk Silkstrand carpeting that is fluffy and soft.

Wife is also happy that their was no issues or concerns. While we had a small issue in past, both sides overcame it and both have moved forward for the better. Give Capitol a chance. you'll be happy you did!

My recent experience with Capital Carpet and Tile was fantastic, in every way. From the moment I walked in to the show room, I knew things were going to be great. I was met by professional and knowledgeable employees, who took the time to understand my needs, and help me select the correct flooring. They were able to schedule my measuring and the installation around my hectic schedule.

The installers were professional, efficient, and did an excellent job cleaning up when they were complete. No corners were cut, no short cuts were taken, and I was left with a beautiful finished product. I will recommend them to anyone who is in need of flooring!

Very good experience in the purchase and installation. Only reason not a 5 is that where the carpet in bedroom meets the hallway with wood floor the carpet edge is not smooth the way it should be.

Everyone isn't perfect and mistakes are made. But it is the way that the problems are resolved that makes a store stand out. Capitol Carpet and Tile is one. After an excellent reference from a neighbor whose wood floors were installed by Capitol, I chose them to replace my tile floor. Anthony was the salesman and was able to understand the look I wanted and guided me to the perfect tile.

The tile installation design was on the diagonal and laid out symmetrically with no flaws. Each man who work the job was courteous and professional A few problems arose and each time, Anthony and the contractor would come back, decide how to fix it, and execute the repair. Unfortunately, one problem kept arising with the grout and wasn't being resolved with just a spot repair.

Feeling a little frustrated by the time the last grout problem arose, I found my original paperwork where the guarantee stated "24/7 access to the owner" with his email and phone number. So, taking their word, I called Mr. Morano. We spoke about the issues that I was having and I stated I would like my grout redone rather than continuing to spot repair.

Within an hour, Mr. Morano called me back after speaking with the others involved and advised Capitol will regrout and resolve the issue. Within two days, they finished the replacement and my floors are absolutely beautiful. Capitol Carpet stands behind its guarantee of Customer Satisfaction and ensure each job is professionally designed and installed. I am a "Raving Customer" (as their mission statement states they strive for) and will use them with any future flooring projects.

We received excellent service from Burt, Tony(SM) and Allen, who may I add is the sales manager of a different store (Boynton Beach). Burt and Tony were extremely helpful and professional in providing assistance in picking out our tile. Allen went above and beyond and met me at their warehouse during non business hrs, and loaded up my SUV during a holiday weekend. Wow. Kudos to the entire team.
