Western Red Cedar delivers amazing results and is unrivaled in many of its properties. It is highly regarded for its durability, coloring and appearance, resistance to decay, and weight. Western Red Cedar is very versatile and can be stained, treated to show off its natural luster or left to weather to a beautiful silvery grey.

We have been shopping at Conejo Hardwoods for many years and have remodeled a handful of houses using their material. They are simply the best in terms of product, service and communication. Recently we remodeled a more high end home and used them for our hardwood floors, all of our tile from Bedrosians (they got us a better price than direct) and also our reclaimed wood mantle. In addition, our cabinet maker uses them for material! Grateful these guys are in town and so helpful! Call David for flooring!

Mr. Diaz, sales & design consultant, is super friendly and knowledgeable. He answered my questions regarding repurposing woods and programs for loop economy of our consumerism society. A+ David Diaz in flooring is exceptionally knowledgeable. I also got quotes quickly for my doors and windows. I had them do the hardwood floor installation for my living room and dining room and they were very fast and good. Their flooring prices were competitive, but their installation costs were higher than other flooring contractors, but other contractors quoted me two and one-half days. Chris, their flooring installer supervisor is all business.
He showed up on the job with a big crew of three and they almost finished the first day. I was told that the floor needed on day for the glue to dry. A smaller crew came back the next day to install molding, do the finishing touches, and move the furniture back into place.

I've been doing business with these guys for 10+ years, and have always been pleased. This is where I buy my Festool products and they have been great with supporting repairs, returns to the manufacturer. In addition, I have purchased a fair amount of high-end door hardware for custom projects. Then there's the wood -- they have a ton of really awesome lumber and sheet goods. Pricing seems to be pretty good, I'm sure there are cheaper options elsewhere, but they serve the Conejo valley well and you'd have to drive 20+ minutes to other similar places in the San Fernando Valley or up to Ventura.

If you are thinking about re-flooring your home with hardwood, we highly recommend Conejo Hardwoods without reservation. There are not enough superlatives to describe our experience with this company. Chris, Francisco, and David are knowledgeable, polite, and professional. They understand that relationships with their customers matter more than making a sale.
We visited other flooring companies who might be a little cheaper, but we didn't get the same welcoming feeling and service that we had with Conejo Hardwoods. The flooring installation crew led by Dennis was fantastic. During the process, Dennis would often bring things to my attention that I hadn't thought about, consult with me, and fix them. I didn't need to worry about a thing with Dennis' attention to detail.
Have a look at our (tile) before and (hardwood) after flooring pictures. Even after the job was finished, I would text Chris about a small scratch in the floor or base moulding that was off, and Dennis would be at our house the very next day to fix it. That is amazing service, and one of the reasons we are completely satisfied with our experience with Conejo Hardwoods. You should strongly consider them on your flooring list and pay them a visit at their showroom.
