Over the past 3 years my husband and I have used Kitchen-encounters for 3 renovation projects at our home. We have been VERY pleased with the staff, services and ultimately the super upgrades for our home, which we use and enjoy every day. Our first, largest and most complicated project was a total kitchen renovation that started with wall removals and demolition.
Working through the design, budgeting, trade subcontractors and construction was very challenging, even overwhelming at times, and Kitchen-encounters helped us every step of the way. When we had a problem or dilemma they helped identify options or solutions that allowed us to move forward in a logical and prudent way. The trade subcontractors (drywall, tile, countertops, etc.) that came into our house were prompt, competent, courteous and took pride in their workmanship.
Our second project was a master bathroom renovation and we just recently completed a backyard kitchen. Based on our experiences, we would not hesitate to recommend Kitch-encounters to anyone interested in a kitchen or bathroom upgrade, for either new construction or a renovation project.

We had an awful experience with Kitch-encounters on our recent kitchen remodel. Our coordinator was disorganized and unreliable which resulted in multiple delays/errors throughout the project. The actual work done was excellent, and that is thanks to the subcontractors used. Paul and Dex were wonderful to work with and we appreciate their professionalism.
It's unfortunate that we cannot recommend this company to all our friends and family who are now asking about the beautiful finished product. Based on the unprofessionalism and poor customer service we received from Cheryl, we will not be using Kitch-encounters for the rest of our remodeling plans or recommending them.

Outstanding work for my complete kitchen renovation. Lance, the designer, was there every step of process from designing the new kitchen, thru removing the old cabinets, redoing the subfloor and installing new flooring, cabinets, new appliances, etc. Everything was completed on schedule and on budget with a clear itemized bill (and no surprises). I really appreciate the quality of the subcontractors who came to the house.
They were on time, very professional, took the time to do quality work, and cleaned up afterwards. My girlfriend who also used KE for their complete kitchen renovation said that she and her husband left town during the time of the renovation; and KE handled the entire project, finishing on schedule and within budget. Lance oversaw both our projects. He's a real stickler for details and that's what we both like about him, plus he answers emails and telephones. I will definitely use them again for my next project!

This is the second time I've used Kitch-Encounters and I've been very pleased both times to work with them. The first project they did for me was installing a Cambria quartz countertop across a two-wall built-in space for my home office. The second project was a custom made dining room buffet. Staff is always friendly and easy to work with. Communication and check-in have been great both times. I'll be using them again when we remodel our kitchen :

We just cannot say enough good things about Kitch-Encounters. They were first, very reasonable about the price and, second, during the construction phase they could not have been better. All the different tradesman came when they said they would and it was a problem free project. Our kitchen looks so great and Ellie just loves it. They are a great firm and I encourage you to do business with them.

A representative came out to measure our bathroom for a complete remodel. He made no attempt to find out what we wanted or even budget. He said he'd call in "a few days" with plans but we never heard from him again. I even called a week later but no one answered the phone. Looking at other reviews, I'll count myself lucky and move on.
