Buckeye Hardwood & Lumber Co., located in Arlee, Montana, in the beautiful Jocko Valley just north of Missoula originated as the western end of a business that had is beginnings in a partnership formed in Mecca, Ohio. Buckeye Hardwoods started wholesaling small quantities of hardwoods westward in 1984.
Our home office and mill is located in Arlee, Montana, uniquely situated just north of Missoula such that we can readily service towns from Darby in the southern part of Western Montana to Eureka in the Northwestern corner of the state, as well as outlying areas such as Thompson Falls and the I-90 corridor (from Rapid City, South Dakota to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho!).
