Floor Depot

A job that only needed one run, Floor Depot did it in two separate runs, and on the third run, they left me holding the bag. The first run was not sufficient since they measured incorrectly and were short on the material they ordered. So, they had to come back a second time. On the second run they peeled off part of the sheetrock in one of the bedrooms while pulling the old baseboard, they also left noticeable gaps between the ceramic tile and the newly installed baseboard.

I wanted them to fix the peeled sheetrock and apply the grout missing between the ceramic tiles and the baseboard before I could pay the balance. They agreed to do the remaining work but wanted me to pay for the work done to that point. They would leave $500 unpaid in lieu of the outstanding repair, which I thought was reasonable. Since they had my credit card number from the initial deposit, they went ahead and charged me the whole remaining balance, instead. Disregarding the amount we had agreed on to remain unpaid.

After several calls to complain about the charges and the outstanding repairs. They said they would do the job but never showed up to finish it. I ended up doing the repairs myself. Do not do business with these people. Their word means nothing.

I went in with my husband to buy luxury vinyl flooring today. The salesperson sat behind his desk and asked us why we were there. We explained that we were remodeling our home. He pointed to a few selections, and went back to whatever he was doing. He appeared to be annoyed by our presence. A few minutes later a white couple enters the store. The salesperson, gets up out of his chair, introduces himself to them and walks with them as he explains the differences in the flooring. He didn't make us feel as though our business was wanted or needed, so we left.

A few years ago I would have given this place 10 Stars! But now they are quick to take your Money and leave you hanging. I'm so sickened by the lies and empty promises. We have taken off 3 days of work for Install and just left with a pile of tile In my garage. You have to call and call to Get a response from them. Very poor work ethic. Instead of trying to make things right they would rather let you take business elsewhere. Save yourself some time and START somewhere Else.

Great selection good value good customer service nice and clean.

Unfortunately the terms agreed to when it comes to payment was not executed. Terms set by sales team was half down, half on completion. I called in my credit card and was surprised to see the full amount charged. Then the installers didn't even show up. Prices on materials are cheap but I would say the level of professionalism isn't quite there. go here to buy flooring, but i wouldn't trust the install.

Great service. Ordered now we wait for it to get here. Looking forward to having it installed.

I'd give them zero stars if it would allow me to for the experience I had. Regardless who was right or wrong (owner was wrong) thru possible miscommunication, an owner should never yell at the customer and then proceed to continue acting like a child and refusing to do business with you after not completing the transaction/job 100%. Very unprofessional and the worst experience ever.

This is a good place for DIY-ers looking for brands not carried by the big box chains. Seems like engineered vinyl and wood is mostly what they sell. Don't let the ugly building exterior and disheveled showroom put you off, there are some good finds here. Much of the stock on-hand is liquidated and quantities may be limited, but there are plenty of special order displays to browse. The staff is knowledgeable, but shoppers who know nothing about flooring may feel less confident here.

We were desperate for help with padding and nice carpet within our means. We came across Floor Depot on Spencer lane and after speaking with them on the phone we were invited to come in and check out the remnants they had that would suit my budget. They could have sold me show carpeting but after hearing my story they went above and beyond to fit the areas i needed for my newly walking grandson with grade A remnants.

They were patient, kind, and above all understanding of my situation. They are wonderful guys with big hearts. I will pass my experience along, recommend highly, and continue getting my carpeting from these very kind people at Floor Depot. They even remembered my sister buying carpeting and padding twice. Great place, great service! Thank you so much for helping me keep this precious child safe. You rarely find people with this caliber of caring in these tough days! Kevin and the team at Floor Depot helped us out tremendously! They were able to locate and install materials within 4 days where as Home Depot took 2 months and then weren't able to install the material and a let's-wait-longer approach to remedy the problem. Thanks Floor Depot for taking care of us so quickly and for less AND it looks amazing!

Great product options, but if you are concerned about covid safety, especially now that more contagious versions abound, be aware that not one of their employees are masked. Sign on door saying it's a must but they don't care. Ridiculous.

I worked with both John and Rob and between the pricing knowledge and helpfulness I would recommend Floor Depot to anyone who is looking for flooring now!

I will echo everyone else. well the 3 other review on here. You will have better luck somewhere else! We shopped here based on a referral and just followed through when we got to far in. At first they were super helpful. Kevin showed us flooring, gave us samples (in the middle of Covid) and we found a great flooring in our price range. We. ordered and PAID the product and were given an eta.

I called to confirm the following day or days later only to be told that product was no longer made!?! I was livid, but the owner Bob told me he would make it right. When we got there we were showed several comprable products but they are either much more expensive or not as quality or right color.

The sub contractor who installed my tile did a very good job. The sales person John was completely unorganized and didnt order enough supplies. There wasnt enough backerboard, 3/4 round (used my own), drop cloths, and almost ran out of tile. He also insinuated that I was trying to get out of paying my remainder balance. I wasnt completely satisfied with a small portion of the job and wanted to wait to pay balance until it was done all the way.

I have never been spoken to in such a rude way by a sales person before. It took every fiber of me not to tell this person to F himself. I have a 2nd whole house renovation gut job that I needed to have done and will NOT be using this company ever again.

If I could leave zero stars, that would be fitting. We went with this company based on the time frame of completion & the knowledge of John, the salesman. We paid for them to place tile in our entire house (good chunk of money). In the process, they broke our washing machine valve and took over a week to get it fixed so we could do laundry. The. owner, Bob spoke so rudely to us as if he was doing us a favor for fixing their mistake.

The job also took twice as long as they said it would causing many inconveniences for us. We asked for a very SMALL compensation for the inconvenience of washing machine & the extra week it took to finish the job. They absolutely would not budge. They never apologized, never showed up on time or worked the hours they said they would & spoke to us as if everything was our fault and we were liars about the time frame promised.

The owner is just as bad as his salesman. Stay away. Hire the contractor independently & cut these fools out. You'll save a ton of money going elsewhere. I've never experienced worse customer service for that price.

If I could give this place a negative I would. Tried to go look for vinyl flooring and had a sample. The salesman was rude, short, and their prices are NOT anywhere the cheapest in town. They are th most expensive place I have been to. He said he can call me with manufacturer prices and get back to me. Couldn't even give me pricing, would not recommend going here at all. Salesman just walked away when I asked him to tell me if he thinks they can come down to match Home Dept. So annoyed I even gave them a chmace.

Super helpful staff and a variety of flooring products to choose from. The prices were within market price comparison and would recommend you stop by to see if they have what you need for your next home project.

We came here to purchase a carpet remnant and had no trouble finding one we liked. The man who helped us was nice and the selection of remnants was good. After paying, the salesman had us drive around to the side and a young man loaded it into our car. Nice!

Fantastic company. I have enjoyed working with Rob. This is a family operation, even those who are not family are. Fun to play with Sam the dog when you visit. I have been working with them for about 1.5 months now as we renovate our home and have really enjoyed the people that work there and their can do attitude. Trisha is an awesome asset to this company.great at what she does, very committed and works hard to make things happen.

They also have a massive selection of tile at reasonable prices. We did not use them for the install as we have a very large job and needed someone sooner than when they were available.

Beware check ur product! Selling boxes with mismatched flooring found out after I got home and opened.when I tried to find resolution I was spoken to badly of course after I spent money. Unfortunate because my service was excellent day of purchase! (Kudos - Rob III)

I've always gotten good service. I've bought several times for my personal and investment properties.

I reached out to this company by online inquiry. I was contacted by Bob Henry - I explained that I was looking for a certain tile that my builder installed. I asked him if I could send him a picture of the label on the box to ensure I get the correct color. I did this on February 22nd at 11:46 AM per my phone records. I was called back and assured they have this exact tile in stock & available.

I proceeded with the purchase on March 8, 2016 by phone after further inquiry with other stores that all told me they did not have what I needed. I again spoke with Mr. Henry & proceeded to make payment by phone. I was told my tile would be available for pick up that Thursday because it was in town. I sent someone to pick up my order Saturday to then be told it was not at the store "yet." I waited another week for my delivery to the store.

My tile was installed by a contractor while I was out of town and at that time it was brought to my attention that the tile did not match the existing tile. At the point of no return. I reached out to the manufacturer after some encouragement by a neighbor who is also looking to install new tile to match the tile installed by our builder. Upon discussion it was clear to them that based on the tile box labels - I was sold a totally different SHADE of the tile per the label which lists color shade.

I attempted to reach out to Floor Depot & ask them for a resolution as it was installed, but I did pay a premium of $1.25 per tile where as the local Home Depot sells comparative tiles for $0.69 per tile - If I was going to purchase something that didn't match 100% I would have gotten it there for half the price! I again spoke with Mr. Henry who I just found out is actually the owner - Who clearly recalled my entire purchase and history with, and after I explained that I had sent him the picture - he swore he saved all pictures and texts - remarkably didn't have any recollection of my text. (I also picked up my first order with an entire box broken, which I inquired about before purchasing my second order (I was short) and was told it would be taken into account, and was not. ) When I explained to that I was not going to argue about it but my phone records showed I had sent him the picture of the label. and that I was letting him know as I had many neighbors ready to go do business with him for the same product, and now I would not be referring them - I was told "that is my prerogative" and then he hung up on me!

Good value + good service = excellent outcome. My realtor recommend Floor Depot as a place to get value for my money. Once I selected a carpet, Rob came out to my house to measure. He was professional and polite. My install was scheduled the following week and the job was accomplished with professionalism and consideration. Installer David Lopez and his crew were efficient, professional. I would definitely return to Floor Depot.

This place is the most unprofessional, disorganized place of business I have ever been to. They never called us to let us know the status on anything. We were having to constantly call them and ask for updates. It took a month and a half for the flooring to arrive when initially were told a week or two. It took another week after that for them to schedule an installation date.

The first day they arrived, they opened one box and found a warped board so all just left. But of course no one told us that. We checked our cameras to see when they arrived and left. So we called and were told they were "working" on it. Finally I called the manger who had no clue what I was talking about and really didn't seem to have any clue into what his employees were selling and telling their customers.

He came out and looked at the boards and said a few were warped and that he would send a bunch of workers out the next day to make up for the day they wasted. 3 showed up. It took them another three days to finish. And we arrived back from vacation, the quarter round was sloppy and hardly nailed down. There were no transitions from the tile to the wood.

So of course we had to call and ask when we might get that. Needless to say, our floors aren't finished and I'm not sure they ever will be until we hire another company. We made the mistake of not looking at more than one place. Please do yourself a favor and go with a different company. You get what you pay for and this place is the bottom of the barrel.
