A couple of things, (1) I called yesterday afternoon and spoke with a gentleman inquiring of service for stripping wax buildup on tile floors. Nice person said we can give you a free estimate the following day and schedule a time between 10-11am. (2) A gentleman called today around 930am, saying he was coming to "do" my floors, I explained I scheduled an estimate.
He then asked is this commercial, I explained residential. I also conveyed I shared all my details yesterday. He then asked where I was located and how does he get to me. I suggested you use his navigation, he stated he does not have one, I then suggested he use his phone's app, he stated he does not have it. I asked him if he was serious, he said yes. WTH.
However I did give him manual directions to our house. (3) He said I was an hour away, I asked where he was located, he said Bandera and 10, I told him its not an hour away. I did not get a good feeling with this conversation. I then called the main number, received voice mail, I called repeatedly for over an hour, no answer, just voice mail, not a warm fuzzy. Lastly, the rep arrived around 1045am, name was Jake, very professional, explained the details in full, with confidence, knows his stuff.
We walk and talked about my desire request, he did the measurements, and stated the office will email the estimate. Once I get the estimate, then determine if I will use this family owned business, I will then provide a new update.
