Harry did an excellent job buffing & coating our floors. He was communicative through the whole process, timely, and even flexible when we adjusted the date. He was courteous through the whole process and took the time to explain the various steps and the rationale. I cannot recommend him enough.

Also, there were three different colors of hardwood that had been installed throughout the home by various owners. He was able to come out quickly and provide a very professional overview on the best way to restore the wood to their natural beauty. He did an amazing job sanding out the scratches and matching all areas of the floors to the same color. We also had him install brand new oak hardwood in the kitchen area. I was ready to redo my hardwood floors after purchasing a new home. Harry took the time to return my call (three other companies in Marin didn't), and after looking at some pics he said I didn't need to redo them. They're in good shape! Harry spent about 5-10 mins on the phone trouble shooting and answering questions and gave me professional advise that saved me a lot of money. Harry and Andy did a superb job start to finish. They worked efficiently, protected the existing floors while they moved equipment and materials through the house and the new floors look amazing. They removed our wall to wall carpeting and then had to cut the baseboards down to lay the hardwood floor. Andy was able to do it without damaging or marking up the baseboards so we don't even have to do a re-painting. I would use them again in the future and highly recommend Hi Tech Hardwood Floors.

Seriously 5-start great! Harry was so friendly and communicative the whole time. I was moving into a new place in two weeks and he was able to speedily review the needs of the floor and get his team into the unit and complete in a week! He also was really flexible and helpful over little things like entryway keys - I didn't want to hand over keys after just replacing them for the unit itself and he totally understood and we just left keys for the building. Plus I needed new flooring for a small closet and they had extra laminent so just charged me for labor - really going above and beyond.

This flooring company is top notch! They were very professional, efficient and highly knowledgeable of their profession. Affordable? Yes! Harry and his helper re- did our kitchen floor the way we wanted it (color, shine and number of coats). They did the job 99% dust free!
