Services
Our family started Floor Centers of Texas with the goal in mind to offer homeowners a peace of mind opportunity to replace their floors and surfaces in their homes at a competitive price. My wife and I remodeled several homes in the past 20 years and used large corporate stores for flooring. We never received the service we expected from those companies regarding product selection, material installation and pricing.
I am beyond pleased with the way the floors turned out, and couldn't be happier with the team and process as a whole. From start to finish it was a breeze! My husband and I have been wanting to replace our floors for quite some time. We began looking into different flooring companies and asking friends and family for referrals.

I was in a panic and needed wood floors installed ASAP. I visited a lot of flooring stores in Austin over a three day period and chose to work with Floor Centers of Texas. Could not have made a better decision! Garett is super knowledgeable and his install crew was very professional. He fit me in last minute and was able to complete my entire house in a day and a half. I was so happy with the work, I had them come back and install carpet! You will love working with these guys!

Garret was awesome to work with. They did flooring for us in 2012 and we were hoping to find the same product to extend the flooring into an adjacent room. Garret worked hard to find the old product for us. It had been discontinued though. He was super patient with me while I figured out "plan b". WE LOVE THE NEW FLOORS! THANKS Garrett!

I am so happy to have stumbled upon Garett and his team at Floors of Texas. We recently bought a new house and were hoping to get new floors installed quickly to speed up the moving process. On a whim, I decided to stop in the shop and see what they had. Garett was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and helped me pick out flooring that met my needs quickly.
Within the week, his team was at the house installing the new floors. They did a fantastic job, and were very responsive during the whole process (lots of questions along the way). I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely go back if we ever decide to replace flooring in other parts of the house.

Do not use, They do not back there products. All the floor is Unlevel and there in No underlayment. 17 months ago my sewage line burst. It was ugly. When my flooring was put back in the saga goes even worse than that. My contractor (WHICH NO LONGER IS EMPLOYEED BY THE CONTRACTING COMPANY) recommended this place. I went in and told them that it was a small house with 2 people but I had 2 dogs and wanted something that would hold up after reading a previous post.
They gladly sold me a flooring. The flooring was delivered on a Thursday. The contractor said that since it was delivered on Thurs. it would not be able to be installed until the weekend. FRIDAY when I came home at NOON the floor was halfway installed. I called my contractor and he said that he had talked to his distributer and the flooring was insured.
Three months later when I walked through the house, I could feel the floor was unlevel and there were voids that I could hear when my dods walked on it. The flooring was also turning cloudy. I called and the lady that answered said "so your dogs peed on the floor". I hung up and asked for the manager and got Garrett. I explained what had happened and Garrett said "So your dogs have peed on the floor." I told him NO WAY. Garrett said he could bring a special light to check it out.
I told him to go for it. He never called me back. I then went back to my contractor. They had Garrett and supposedly a third party inspector our (which turned out to be the flooring area's salesman) and they said all was good except for a small area that they replaced. The flooring got more cloudy and I started marking the voids (hollow spaces) in my flooring all 153 of them with blue tape.
The contractor's rep. noticed it as well. Garrett came out again with his salesman and told me that he would glue down the by drilling holes in the wood floor and injecting it with epoxy. Be sure you note that there were153 spots that were hollow. I declined. I asked for a true 3rd party inspector. He came out 2 months ago and said that there was not moisture shield used and that the floor was installed to an unacceptable level.
The contractor has repeatedly called Garrett and he will answer occasionally. We set up a meeting with the 3rd party contractor. Garrett agreed the errors. My contractors have called him many times again to tear out the flooring and lay new flooring after 14 MONTHS. Garret gave a date when they finally got him to call back of JUNE 23. That is a Saturday.
Doesn't seem likely. I will keep posting and let you know how it goes (if it does) in another month and a half. Does this sound like the business you want to deal with? h h turned

Love my new wall-to-wall seagrass! These folks know what they're doing! Who knew that you need to let seagrass 'rest' for 24 hours after unrolling it BEFORE installing it. They put a nice pad underneath for a cushy feel and it looks and feels perfect. I appreciated their honesty and professionalism.

Floor Centers of Texas is amazing. I have never experienced such wonderful customer service. We purchased flooring from them when there were located at their old address off I35. Now we need to replace a few boards and of course we didn't remember how long it had been, the name of the brand we purchased. But we had the pleasure of speaking with Tim who was so patient tried to find our history and records with the very limited information we had. Tim took time and research our information come to find out we purchased this in 2004, yet he did what he could found our information, type of flooring we purchased and saved the day. Thank you Tim and Floor Centers of Texas.
