Factory Flooring Direct was incorporated in May of 2004 in the small town of Lake Point, Utah. Richard Ure began selling carpet out of a construction trailer in the parking lot of our current location while he also managed the construction of our showroom and warehouse. He continued to sell and manage installations while also managing the building construction for the next year.
He worked around the clock most days making sure everything went well in all aspects of the new business. Blood, sweat, and tears only begin to describe his experience in this process.

Quinn Scott was amazing! He took his time and did a perfect job with my new carpet in the basement and the stretching of our bedroom and closet carpet that was poorly installed by the Home Builder. We have had a great experience working with Factory Flooring Direct! They came to measure our complex and angular Mid Century Modern home built in 1965. They were very patient with the 3 hour process and brought the samples we had selected. We found the perfect floor for our major remodel and are now in possession of 1000 sq ft of beautiful floor and Al the transitions.
When our contractor has walls removed and is. Floor prepped they will come back to do the installation. We were grateful we could purchase ahead and pay for the flooring and installation at current prices. They are so helpful and extremely competitive price wise while using their own installers as opposed to contract installation. We highly recommend FFD!

My 2 star is for the installation of the hard surface flooring. Im 100% happy with the carpet. The LV flooring was not installed to our satisfactory, we now have to paint mud & tape over 11 areas on our walls that were damaged by the removal of out baseboards. This was never something were were told could happen. We were given a $50.00 credit which doesnt cover the cost of materials and paint let alone the time to repair everything.

I'm a do it myself homeowner and I didn't need a large amount of flooring. Jay Booth helped me find the exact flooring to match what is in our home. He also gave us some other options and we took his suggestions. He also showed me how to score the flooring and make cuts quickly. Loaded it in the truck and gave us a quote for when we do the rest of the basement. We will definitely be back!
