Bamboo is a grass that grows to maturity in six to seven years, much faster than a hardwood tree, making it a truly renewable resource. Its high sustainability, unique look, and earth-friendly properties have made it a popular choice for eco-friendly flooring in homes and workplaces. Moso or "regular" bamboo is beautiful flooring for lower traffic areas or for people who are easier on their floors - take their shoes off, no large dogs, etc. Regular moso bamboo is strikingly handsome but softer and more prone to showing wear such as high heel marks and dog claw marks.

Underfoot Floors provide beautiful and quality flooring for a reasonable price. They are specialized and knowledgeable. Chuck was kind, patient and responsive. When they began the install, my floor had not been properly prepared and crumbled. Chuck arranged to have the floor fixed by a qualified craftsman and Norm came after hours to install so I could have it done quickly. Chuck responded immediately to my calls and texts. In this crazy world of remodeling, their service and product are unmatched.

Underfoot Floors has the very best quality and craftsmanship in home flooring. They give you a reasonable price, are easy to work with, and have skilled craftspeople with a quality product. Eric Cole the owner is skilled, knowledgeable, and always helpful. His staff keeps you informed of timelines (even in a year of unavoidable shipping delays). And the installers come when they say they'll be there and do top notch work. (I'm looking at you, Randy Newman. Thank you!) I highly recommend Underfoot Floors. Truly, they are the best.

We had a great experience with Underfoot Floors! After buying our first home, we needed to replace the gross carpet in the basement. Having never bought carpet before, I had a million questions. Chuck had the patience of a saint and answered them all. I felt like he truly cared that we made the best selection for our needs and went above and beyond every step of the way. We had a fantastic experience with Underfoot Floors. Our home's oak floor was 28 years old and had never been refinishing. Our job was bid quickly and correctly, the price was fair, and the company personnel's communication skills were wonderful. Oscar did an incredible job with our floors - not only did they turn out perfectly, he always did what he said he was going to do, he provided great advice, and he was very pleasant and fun. When a new product arrived that was better quality than what we had chosen, they brought me samples and allowed us to switch over. And when problems arose, they were immediately on it, extra informative, and resolved everything to our satisfaction. The new floors look amazing. I would recommend Underfoot to anyone!

Discovering hardwood floors under my carpet was a bonus. But Underfoot Floors gave them a second life. they're incredibly gorgeous! I'm truly amazed at how old wood floors when done properly can look brand new. Big shout out to Eric, T, Deb and Andrea. Thank you for your skills, professionalism and love of what you do!
