My wife and I are very happy with our new floor. Badger Hardwood laid a new maple floor in our living room and refinished the floor in our kitchen and dining room. I purchased a fixer upper house that once I pulled up the old carpets I found beautiful hardwood flooring with some bad stains. Dan was great to work with and Donavan did a awesome job sanding and staining the floors. He even did some patch work that blended right in. This company is great and so easy to work with as well as prompt work times. Unlike many other contractors, when Badger Hardwood flooring say they'll be there at a certain, they'll be there. Highly recommend!

Beware! He refinished our floors 5 years ago, solid B job. It wasn't the highest end job or the lowest, but a solid nice job. Rehired him 5 years later to lay bird's eye maple in living room and buff and recoat with varnish the 3 rooms he did the 5 years prior. Long story short, terrible communication in returning email and phone messages is the best of it.
The last layer of varnish on the bird's eye maple (not a speck of bird's eye in it) was like walking on the beach! The guys never vacuumed between the coat. Then Dan said he would come fix it, it's about 50 % better, still gritty and there is hair in it! Never had us close the windows or turn off the AC. Broke the living window. Never acclimated the wood to the house (we'll see if it buckles in the next winter season). Glue let loose on the edges (was on concrete slab).
The 3 rooms he was buffing and recoating he missed strips with varnish. Never came back for the last room because we fired him. Told us he would put a lien on our house because we told him we were not giving him anymore $ than what he had been paid (half down). We figure that covers the cost of the wood. We had to hire another company to come in and fix his work.
Sand down wood to bare finish and fix. Then buff and re-coat the rooms he did because the varnish was already flaking in less than a week. He was belligerent, rude, and unprofessional. The next company came in with slip on shoe covers and a rug of their own and vacuumed everywhere they had walked through. We have hired a lawyer. He's lucky if we don't sue for the cost of the other company, the pod to move our stuff into while work is being done, and housing us in a hotel. See ya in court!

Badger did a terrible job installing our floors. There are inconsistent, huge gaps that gather food and debris constantly. The head installer was older and smelled like weed everyday he was here. I wouldn't trust them if you're thinking about a hardwood flooring project. Dan seems nice at the surface but did not care about the job being done the right way. He kept telling us that the floor would expand with more moisture. It hasn't budged. We need our entire flooring reinstalled.

They did a great job installing my floor. Dan came over and gave me an estimate, we agreed on everything that was going to be done, and everything was done as agreed and the floor is beautiful. The guys who did the work were professional and were very accommodating of my schedule and worked well with my cats.
