Took 6 months and multiple calls to actually get my carpet installed after paying in January. Couldn't get a call back from them or even an email update without me having to call and speak to multiple people. Finally got the owner who then called me back and just was short, rude and seemed annoyed. I'm so sorry I inconvenienced this company with my business. THANK GOD I chose to only do a small carpeted stair case and not my entire 2nd floor project with them.
Lesson learned. In the end the carpet is beautiful but that has nothing to do with Carlson - they didn't manufacture it they just ordered it and apparently kept it in storage for months and wasted my time having to track them down for the install.

Carlson's came highly recommended to me, so I was extremely disappointed to have the experience that I just did. Karen was rude and condescending, as without even knowing my budget, Karen treated me as though I could not afford my carpet selection. If I had not had such a difficult time finding a product I liked elsewhere, I would have walked out after only minutes of my interaction with Karen.
Despite her level of service, I requested to take home a sample of the product I liked. Karen asked when I could return the sample, in which I responded next Saturday (one week from today), and she told me she would like it back sooner. My husband and I love the product for our home, so will be returning the sample and finding it elsewhere for purchase.

We have worked with Carlson's for a number of years. We have purchased custom area rugs, had them put vinyl flooring in our basement, replaced tile in a bathroom and purchased new carpeting! They have been nothing but professional, knowledgable and on point. They have helped us make good selections and work with our budget! They are responsive. They show up when they say they will and their installers are seasoned veterans.
They are super nice to work with and very neat! This is a local business we should all support! Thanks to Troy and Stefani and all their staff! Great experience! Could not say more about how wonderful they are to work with!

I just had new carpeting installed and am absolutely thrilled! The installers were professional, showed up on time and did an awesome job! They were neat and courteous. I would recommend Carlson's to anyone. The whole process of purchasing carpet is overwhelming, but I did not get that feeling with the representatives (Troy and Tyler) were amazing! Thanks guys you really did a great job in making me feel comfortable the process.

I am so disappointed with this business. I was told one price for tile and then got a quote for someone to install it. I decided not to hire someone to install and that I was going to do it myself. I went ahead and gutted my kitchen but when I went back to the store saying I'm doing the work myself I was told the sales rep "misspoke" and the cost of the tile doubled. Buyer beware, the sales people are very nice but this place is shady.

Stephanie in sales is amazing; great experience. So we pick out tile, pay the requisite 50 percent then tru to get installation scheduled. Absolutely horrible! No return calls for over a week then I called sales to let them know I cannot get a response on installation and she gets the production person to call me. Apparently he can't schedule anything without getting an ok from someone who isn't available. Never again.

We have used Carlson's in our home in Geneva to put in wood floors on our master bedroom and to install carpeting. Both jobs were great. Recently moved to home on St Charles. Time was tight since I wanted the carpeting replaced prior to moving in. They were great working with my time schedule and helping me pick a good color for my needs!

Great company in every respect! They recently installed wood flooring in our home, and we were impressed every step of the way. Kim is an excellent salesperson - friendly, knowledgeable, thorough. Troy took care of the complex measure just about perfectly. The install, led by Chris, went faster than estimated. The installers were professional, efficient and courteous, and the job was done perfectly. They left the house cleaner than when they started. I highly recommend this company! They've been a fixture in Geneva for years, and it's easy to see why.

I just had carpet installed by Carlson Floors and they were great. Kim was our salesperson and she was super friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. It took my husband and I two months to settle on a carpet and we changed our minds several times. I felt bad because we went back so many times but Kim was so patient and helpful each time, never acted annoyed, made great suggestions. Our installer did a great job and the carpet looks amazing. I couldn't recommend them more and will be happy to use them again in the future.

My BF & I went to carlsons to get educated on carpet since we have never purchased it before. The staff was super friendly and helped us pick out a great carpet. That is where their customer service ended! Telling us they would order us a sample of the carpet we chose and it would arrive in 3-5 business days. Well, 5 days pass no call so on the 6 & 7th day of me calling & finally talking with our sales woman and asking if our sample had arrived.
She says.ohhh i was just going to call you that carpet has been dicontinued. WHAT! I say ok so now what and she says she ordered us a sample very similar to the one we picked out. Ok 1st off NEVER heard back from anyone @ this store! Its been close to a month. 2nd i'm suppose to drop a couple grand on something u picked out for me! NOT happening! So needless to say I wont ever recommend Carlsons to anyone! Just plain HORRIBLE!
