Ron started his career in the flooring industry over 50 years ago and quickly became a carpet mill executive. In 1982, Ron and Nancy founded SCS Flooring Systems (SCS) and under their direction the Company enjoyed a major market share in Los Angeles within five years. Ron was passionate about the industry and a consistent ethical leader. His focus was always on customers, employees and the community, said Nancy Kligerman, President and CEO of SCS. SCS Flooring Systems sells and installs floor covering products with expertise in all commercial market segments throughout the continental United States.

SCS Flooring Systems is one of the largest independent flooring contractors in Southern California. A successful project begins with a well thought out plan. We begin every job the same way by understanding your requirements. We work with the end user, architects and designers to help create budgets, and select appropriate products. Our supplier partnerships provide high-performing, high-quality flooring products and materials that support every market segment.
Once we have been awarded a contract, we proceed to order and warehouse materials. During the installation phase, we will remove, reclaim to recycle old products, move furniture, lift modular wall partitions, and install new floor coverings. When the job is complete, we instruct facility managers on the proper care and maintenance of the products. In addition, we can provide end users with a maintenance contract. We finish every job the same way by ensuring your satisfaction.
A national flooring account requires detailed preparation from both product manufacturer and the project/installation contractor. Being able to react and adjust expertly to all job-site tasks is the sign of the true commercial flooring professional. Purchasing floor covering on a facility-by-facility basis can be a very inefficient and time consuming process.
