My name is Ric Scovil and I am the second generation owner of Ability Wood Flooring, which has been a family owned and operated company for more than 60 years. Shane and his father were extremely helpful in our search for floors. They had the best selection of floors, better than three other stores we had been to. He guided us through some pros and cons of the flooring and also install considerations. I would go back to him immediately if we ever need flooring in the future and i will recommend him to family and friends. You really can't go wrong with them.

Ability is the best company I have ever worked with. I used them for a wood wall project I was working on. They supply high quality wood products. Alex is very knowledgeable, he makes excellent recommendations and will go to extensive lengths to find the products and instruction necessary for your project. Couldn't have expected a more smooth or high quality experience. From the first visit for project estimate through the execution, Ability Wood did a superb job. I was impressed not only in the performance delivered in refinishing my floor but in their creativity and delivery upon rebuilding my stair railing. I will start off by saying that we felt very good about choosing this company based off the people that work here. Everyone was extremely lovely to work with. The floors were done very beautifully, as pictured. The product ended up taking longer to get here as they were being shipped from Germany, and the team went above and beyond to ensure we had some temporary flooring for a special event we were having.
I was a little disappointed that the sample seemed to match the rest of the flooring in my house, and now I'm not so sure about it, but you cannot deny that these floors were done impeccably and ended up coming out beautiful.

The team with ability flooring is absolutely incredible. The nicest people and easiest to work with. Alex took the time to show me every possible sample and made sure I was happy with the flooring I chose. Not only did the floors come out beautiful, the team working was efficient and extremely clean. Their work is impeccable. You would never have known that a major flooring project had been completed as they left the room and rest of the house spotless. I would definitely recommend this company and will absolutely use them in the future.

Ability came highly recommended to us from friends who used them to refinish floors in their home and it is with good reason! Working with Ability has been a great experience. Ability Flooring has been so good to work with. They are very professional, while still having a personal touch. They were very considerate when I had to change plans because of a health issue. Several months later I had them install new hardwood floors. They are beautiful and were done in one day. They made the whole process so easy for me!

This is a great company that's been around for years I just finally now had the chance to use them. It was a great experience from beginning to end very professional and Shane also Was able to show me a multitude of different options for my flooring choice. I had a very quick turnaround from site visit to estimate in hand and was able to have the work performed In a timely Manner. I was very pleased with the job Ability did on my new floors. I had unfinished oak installed in the living room to and stained to match the existing floors in my kitchen. I was concerned about about getting the colors to match after so many years but crew did a great job and it looks perfect. Thanks to Ric and Shane and everyone at Ability.

Ability Wood Flooring was wonderful to work with on our flooring project at our home. We used Ability for both new flooring downstairs and refinishing upstairs and the end result is beautiful! Their communication is top notch, and Shane worked hard to schedule us on a tight timeline while we were expecting a new baby.
