Prestine work! Check out this staircase! After 2 dogs, a white carpet, and a hefty monthly rug cleaning bill, it was time to extend our Brazilian Cherrywoods. The job included extending the flooring up the stairs and to the 2nd level landing. It was not an easy job. The 5 bottom "wedding cake" steps needed to be custom made (look at those perfect curves)!
I am a researcher and a tough interviewer. After meeting John and his team, I knew I found the perfect company. Throughout each phase of the project, we were kept updated on the status. Heartland flooring Did a wonderful job on our worn out floors. We had bald spots on the floor it was so worn. It had been about 20 since we had our floors redone only because we couldn't find anyone one that could do a sweetish finish on them. The floor turned out beautiful. It looks brand new. John and Joe where so nice and we feel like family now.
They took great care in set up and clean up. There prices are good. They are a very busy company and it is family run and owned and one of the very few company's that still do sweetish finish on the floors. John and his partner Joe are veterans within their trade and they masterfully execute all the work themselves so you are in good hands. They are deeply knowledgeable about wood flooring and finishing and were able to diagnosis and correct existing problems (such as mix-matched wood and unlevel floor transitions) in our old home. Thank you so much John and Joe for making me a very happy person. Keep in mind I'm not the best a photos.

We have done numerous home projects lately (roofing, glass replacement, tree removal, air conditioning installation) and John of Heartland Floors was by far one of the best contractors we have worked with. His work was done impeccably well. I don't think our cherry wood floors have looked that good since their original installation. John is very passionate about how he approaches working with wood.
He was timely with our project and stuck to exactly the time frame he promised us, His pricing seemed very reasonable. I recommend very highly! Great person to work with and very honest.

John responded to my inquiry promptly and we scheduled a meeting to get estimates. However, after waiting for John for 30 minutes, he sent me a text to inform me that he will not be attending. Here is the full text from John: "I just pulled up out front and there's not even a place to park. I'm gonna pass on this. Have a great weekend. Goodbye" If John have texted or called about the parking situation, I would gladly direct him to use my own parking spot.
