Floor-Mart

I give an A+ to this company. I found them for my parents who were let down by Home Depot whose installation firm canceled on us twice. Floor Mart ended up having way better carpets for the same price, or even cheaper than Home Depot. Our project was very time sensitive and Nick made it all happen within less than a week. The installation team was quick and professional. Very impressed! Would highly recommend.

Sam is the man, friendly, helpful and got our floor installed in 3 days! This place is wonderful. They worked around our move in date and the floors look beautiful. The installers were very courteous and professional. I highly recommend Floor Mart!

Our Floor Mart experience was mixed. The selection and value of the products offered, and that which we chose were very good. However, I would extremely caution regarding the installation process. I believe Floor-Mart uses numerous install companies. The group we were assigned did not cover our existing floors prior to the start of the job. Additionally the clean up was in our estimation, sub par, very messy.

We have had many floors installed over the years, and NEVER have our existing wood floors not been covered with drop cloths or plastic, and NEVER have we been left with tile dust covered flooring. Perhaps if the Installation Company owner come to inspect the final job, this would have been resolved, however, he did not. This was a disappointing end to what could have been an excellent experience. I cannot caution potential customers enough -"specifically communicate your expectations clearly" so that you're not let down with the job!

Upon entering we were greeted with a smile. We never felt pressured and Sam was very helpful. Our problem was deciding which floor to go with since there were a lot of nice products to choose from.

I highly recommend Floor Mart. After being totally ignored at Home Depot and Lowe's, starting asking around for carpeting places, and Floor Mart came up several times. I walked in, told Sam my budget and he showed me several options and found one I loved, he offered a sample and I signed up right away. He was on time for measuring and install with Adam was excellent! Definitely would recommend this place to everyone! Thanks, Floor Mart, Sam and Adam for making my pool bedroom, gym and office look amazing, I couldn't be happier

Dave came out quickly to measure and provided a fantastic price the very next day. Installation was within a few days. The guys who installed my carpet were polite, professional and did a fantastic job. Great price, people and workmanship. Thanks Dave.

Dave Watson was spectacular to work with! He was prompt on all responses and was great following up on everything! The installers did amazing work and were very genuine! I highly recommend Dave and his crew to add quality work to your home!

I had heard of Floor Mart from a neighbor who had work done by them several years ago. He highly recommended them so my wife and I went over to shop for a new floor for our house. We met with Sam, who was an excellent listener, and showed us tons of samples and encouraged us to take home several different samples to compare in our house. After deliberating for a weekend we decided on a beautiful luxury vinyl planking floor.

We then had Sam select the molding that was to go around the kitchen cabinets. It was a perfect match and highlighted both the floor and the cabinets. Sam was accommodating in all aspects of the job and even stayed late on a Saturday when the store was closing so we could select samples. I would highly recommend Floor Mart for their prices and the people they employ like Sam who go the extra mile to satisfy the customer!

We had a great experience with Floor-Mart. Nick and Sam made the experience extremely easy and smooth. Nick came and measured and with the help of Sam we picked out materials a few days later. They were able to schedule us within one week. On the install day, they moved the furniture, took out the old carpet, installed the new floor and quarter round within 7-8 hours.

They did a fantastic job and the price was great as well. The entire experience from start to finish was stress free and easy. I would recommend Floor-Mart for anyone looking for new flooring and install.

Refused to give me credit for a box of tile saying it was a special order after the salesman said they had 5,000 sqf in inventory. After almost a month waiting for the order ir was delivered to the wrong address, wich by the way i had to go to the erroneous address and pick up my order. If you want to save some money on the overall cost of the project and can deal with the headache, then i recommend it. They are a good bunch of people, but are not very reliable.

This is my opinion of my experience with floor mart. I had a tile floor put in by floor mart recently. I have had problems with the install from day one. I have reached out several times to Jeff (the salesman) and we have set dates many times for someone to come out to address my major floor issues. Every time a date was set for someone to come out, they have NO CALLED/NO SHOWED.

After reaching out to Jeff for the final time (about the last no call/no show) appointment, he totally dismissed my frustration and actually THANKED ME for my criticism. How about an apology for the issues with my brand new floor and all the time I waisted waiting for a fix? This has been a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. UPDATE TO REPLY: My overhang is sufficient and my lania is certainly not draining properly (see photos below)

Its been four years since we had our Dream Weaver (25 year.warranty) carpet installed by Floor Mart. i am updating my initial review for product and customer service. As indicated by the manufacturer, I have had my carpet professionally cleaned yearly. I also regularly vacuum every other day. We do not wear shoes in the house either. This carpet is beautiful but it has not held up to normal wear.

We are talking 2 adult household. Carpet is flat in the high traffic areas & lifted in the bedroom closet and middle of the bedroom. I initially called Chuck at Floor Mart 3 months ago. He requested receipts to show we maintained the carpet which I provided. Chuck came out to our house & took pictures of the carpet for our warranty claim. He said the carpet should not have worn the way it did.

A week or so later Chuck's son came out to see if he could stretch the carpet to eliminate the ridge running through the middle of the bedroom. He wasn't able 't because he needed to have help to move the bedroom furniture. He called in to see if he could get it scheduled that weekend but for some reason no one knew who was working or who was available so that went nowhere.

His son looked around and stated that cheap tack strips had been used which was likely why the carpet had lifted About a month later we were told the claim went through. Chuck said the warranty would cover labor and materials and he would call to schedule the install with new carpet. We needed to decide on same or new carpet. We went to Floor Mart and decided on the same color carpet.

A few weeks later on a Wednesday Chuck called & left a VM to schedule the install. I called back that Friday & left a VM. I never got a return call. Two weeks goes by and we stop by Floor Mart on a Saturday to inquire about the install. Chuck was there and said he would call me. This was October. It is now 11/26 and we have called Floor Mart on numerous occasions and are still waiting on this install and no resolution yet.

I will be contacting the manufacturer shortly. With the Christmas holidays upon us I really don't want to do a carpet installation in December but I am leery if this keeps dragging on I won't have a claim.

I am really happy with the floating laminate I had purchased and installed by Floor Mart! The quality is really good and the installers very kind! I Will recommend to family and friends! Thank you

Two of my friends posted reviews after having a botched tile and grouting job. Their reviews were deleted and the owner called the wife a hysterical woman and the husband a dick and is now sending rude emails to the couple. I am amazed by the utter unprofessionalism of this company and am glad the word is spreading on Facebook not only in Florida, but for the NJ and AZ businesses as well.

I will not be using this company ever and am urging all of my family and friends in Florida, New Jersey, and Arizona to avoid floor-mart as well. I am screen shotting this review (in case it is removed) and will be sharing it in my social media networks. Since posting, I received a rude comment from the company on my Facebook account where they not only mentioned my friend, by name, but also commented that they could see why all of her friends are single and added a "yikes!" The more I read, the more astounded I am by their lack of professionalism.

Aside from the fact that I'm not single, it's tacky for them to even respond in that way. Also mentioning the customer's name to another in a spiteful manner could be libelous. I'd be more careful if I was an owner of a business. I'd also have handled negative reviews with diplomacy, but would have fixed the problem to the best of my ability. Not impressed, Floor Mart, not impressed at all.

A friend recommended we get a quote from Floor Mart. I'm glad we did. We ended up saving over a $1000 on our new floors, compared to Home Depot's estimate. Plus, we got them installed within a few days of our purchase. This is an excellent family-owned business. I would highly recommended this company to all my family and friends.

2:00 appointment, no call no show. Wasted my whole afternoon. Guess they don't need the business. Will be sure to let family and friends know.

Customer service lacking! Had flooring installed by an independent contractor. He was great but the product Floor-Mart suggested sucks! Parkay flooring, cost a bundle and it started chipping within just a few DAYS! Contacted them.got run around, told us to contact manufacturer. Even BIGGER run around for nearly 5 months! FINALLY, determination says "abuse of flooring and furniture moving" - RUBBISH. we take our shoes off before entering and all furniture has rubber feet AND the floor locations in question with chipping doesn't EVEN HAVE FURNITURE ON IT and NEVER DID! Neither company wants to take responsibility! WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE AGAIN!

We picked out laminate flooring from Floor Mart that we installed ourselves. We were very happy with the product and the price. We had kitchen and bath tile picked out for a very long time and our plans kept getting delayed. Jeff was great with follow up and low pressure. We were contemplating installing ourselves, but got a quote from them for the install and decided to have them do it.

The team they had do the install did a fantastic job! My husband has been in construction for years. When he installed the baseboard himself, the tile was flat and even. We would highly recommend Floor Mart!

Walked in this place to look at tile with my family. And this guy comes up very polite, but keep talking to us about a certain kind of tile. He kept going on and on about this tile saying how it's got a good deal on it, and I mean I wanted to see what else they have but very pushy. Again though very polite. We asked if the Floor Mart would install if we got the tile from somewhere else and the guy said no.

They don't do that. We would have to purchase from that company to have them do the installing. We said we'd think about it. So we left. Found wonderful beautiful tile with in a couple days over at lows and we found this really good company to install it all too. ___________________________ Called: (((Distinctive Tile & Marble.))) ___________________________ These installers did a fabulous amazing job.

And I'm glad we chose Lowes and Distinctive tile than Floor Mart. I only gave 2 stars instead of one because the floor mart guy was friendly even though pushy, and he was kind to us.

Some of the best service I've had. They have a wide selection of quality flooring of all types and very knowledgeable staff. I actually used Jeff Schoeneck.

I had them install tile in a spare bedroom used as a home office and a small bedroom closet. When they came to measure, they gave me total price for the project which was a fair price. Pete, who took the measurements told me it was ok the leave the desk in the office, just remove everything else in the room, which I did. When installers came to the house they said it was not possible to work around the desk and the current laminate flooring was supposed to be removed.

They could do it but it was going to cost about $180. I assisted in moving the desk and removed the carpet from the closet and was still charged the removal fee. When we called the morning of the install, Pete told me it was written on the invoice to have everything out.he also said that it would be ok to leave the desk once again on the phone. I was upset that he did not inform me to have the flooring removed prior to the the install, then he hung up on me.

I did end up paying for the balance and the removal, then they wrote a negative response to us saying we were "trying to pull a fast one" on them. If that were true I would have not paid the balance or the removal fee? They were very unprofessional in the way it was handled, we try to use small businesses exclusively, but it makes me wonder if this was the right decision.

If I was told upfront there would be a fee if I did not remove the flooring, it would have been ok with it, seems like a hidden fee for them to pull a fast one on the customer.

I first had carpeting put in a part of my home, and I got a great deal. I then went back to get laminate flooring in the kitchen and breakfast nook. Even though there was a bit of a mixup with the type of quarter round molding that was supposed to be put around the laminate flooring, (they were putting white quarter round instead of the one that matched the flooring). It took several weeks but they corrected it.

This is the place to go for flooring. Nick was extremely helpful, answering all my questions and making suggestions which helped me focus my search. Great selection, clean, and service oriented. Delivery and installation were quick and professional. I will be back for tile.
