Excellent service! Angela was a life saver. I was helping my elderly parents renovate two bathrooms, I needed tiles and all the accessories that went along with the installation asap as I only had two weeks before returning home (I live in Georgia). Angela helped me picked some great options, she paid particular attention to details and made sure I had everything I needed for the installation.

She followed up on my order and notified me of any changes. I am so glad I found this place and Angela, it saved me a lot of valuable time. I highly recommend Avalon and if you get a chance, Angela is great to work with.

Avalon flooring was recommended by our contractor, and he was 100% correct. Personalized service, very high-quality materials, and great follow-through. CONTEXT: We redid a home office and a bathroom. Let's start with personalized service: Angela A. helped us pick coordinating tile/flooring for the bathroom floor, shower floor, and shower walls. Larger "box stores" were a maze of products and options that we had no way to choose among.

She seamless integrated our wants and needs with our space/design requirements and matched that to real-world products which work. How else to pick which grout for each tile? Do you need some aluminum trim for the tile edge in the shower? A premade Niche? Hardwood or vinyl flooring? Foam underlay for the Flooring? And a thousand other questions which were a mix of design and technical requirements that needed answers to get to the best plan.

We wanted "in-stock" materials (given product availability issues now) and she worked that for us perfectly and followed-up on timing and availability as well as working with our contractor as the project evolved. Anyway, we loved Avalon and Angela.

I bought beautiful tiles for my kitchen backsplash from Avalon. Angela helped me and she was such a pleasure to deal with. The job was complicated by the current supply chain the tile I originally chose was out of stock by the time I was ready to buy it. Turns out the one I got was even better. Angela helped me pick the perfect grout color that matches the cabinet wood. My Kitchen is gorgeous.

Myles Burke was soooo helpful at Avalon Flooring! We would recommend him to anyone. He helped us design our entire new bathroom. Highly recommend!

My contractor order tile from this place for my backsplash for a new kitchen. The end of March! They kept pushing back the delivery date! We had to cancel and go with someone else. If the tile wasn't in that's one thing but to say it'll be in then go back on your word that's. whole other issue. Avalon did this three different times. It's not the staff, but the managers and higher ups. Not good to lie to your contractors/customers. Too bad you lost out on a sale.

I used Avalon (Philadelphia) for carpet installation in my condo. Overall the process was smooth. The showroom is beautiful and the staff knowledgeable and friendly. I was able to take home carpet samples to confirm my selection. There was a hiccup with the in-home estimation but Martin (the manager) stepped in and helped resolve it quickly. The installers were super courteous, efficient and professional. They did a great job and the carpet looks great! Overall, I am very happy with my decision to use Avalon. It was an overall smooth process and the carpets look great!

We went looking for a wool carpet that we could afford and found it here. Everyone was super-helpful and Stephanie is AMAZING. She walked us though our choices, offered great advice and got us what we needed when we needed it. (We had company coming for the first time in a year and were in a rush!) The crew who came to install the carpet were perfectionists and incredibly thoughtful.

They stayed much longer than they had to in order to be sure that everything was perfect. And it was. We highly recommend going to Avalon for carpet or for anything else. We are going back to buy tile next.

Myles is the man! I gave him some flooring and wall tile inspiration and he was able to point me in the right direction. He has an excellent sense of design. I was also not the most decisive customer, so I really appreciated his patience with me. Thanks again Myles!

Spent $1600 on a double vanity which we thought was good quality since it was from Avalon. Less than 2 months went by and sink fell out. They won't repair offered a new top but that would require taring down entire new bathroom backsplash and pulling cabinet out. Never ever buying from Avalon again. They don't stand behind what they sell.

Angela is absolutely amazing! She is so helpful and very talented. We found out that Angela is an artist, which is probably why all of her ideas were so great. My husband and I went in to get tiles for our bathroom, and Angela helped us design the bathroom of our dreams. Would recommend working with Angela at Avalon flooring. We could give her a sky full of stars for this review and it wouldn't be enough.

Loved using Avalon for our new carpets. Myles was terrific to work with and even got our job done under a time crunch!

Updating my review to 5 stars. Had an issue with one item from an order, but they stepped up to correct their mistake. That is rare these days. Appreciate their customer service and happy with how it turned out for my clients.

Martin and his team provided one of the best customer service experiences. In doing a bathroom I was faced with a real dilemma in that I did not order enough mosaic tile sheets for shower floor (my fault). my contractor was only available for one more day making it critical to get the product asap. Martin pulled a miracle and was able to get the material to his store within 4 hours. Saved the day. Needless to say they are now "my tile store".thanks

Five stars for every aspect of dealing with Avalon: sales, measuring, promise of installation date, arriving at 8:59 a.m. for a 9-to-11 appointment. Installers were quick, thorough, knowledgeable, pleasant. Far better service than I ever had with a floor-covering store that was in the family. The carpet is beautiful, and the seams are invisible. Truly, we cannot find them.

James Hedner was wonderful to workl with, from the start of the search process to installation. Avalon appears to have the best selection of any store in the area. James was knowledgeable and available for questions, but responsive to my desire to look on my own. He made the process very easy, enabling me to take home needed samples and speaking with the installation to expedite scheduling. I highly recommend James Hedner at Avalon in Warminster. Karen F. I've updated this review based on further happenings. Recognizing that the order was taking too long (more than double the quoted timeline) the manager of the store really rose to the occasion. He drove out to the distribution center, picked up my order, and delivered it to my door. Mark deserves a five star review for his service and attention! Outstanding service aside in this instance, the fact remains that my order was extremely delayed, so I do still have some reservations about the store.

While everyone there is very nice and attentive, I believe that they are spread a bit thin and that with their many different vendors, they find it hard to really keep good track of delivery times and the offerings and capabilities of each vendor. So I do stick by my original assessment that this is a great resource if you have plenty of time and know exactly what you need, but I would not suggest them if you need to adhere to a specific timeline or if you're looking for really in-depth advice about tile.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Walking into a store such as this is overwhelming, especially for a woman. I know exactly what I wanted. Porcelain flooring that looks like stone. I was ready to buy. I have someone putting it in. It would've been a quick 1,000 sale however not 1 person APPROACHED me. Even as my daughter and I left not ONE WORD was said to us! We felt like we didn't belong here. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I'm in sales at a local furniture store and every single person that walks in the store is greeted!

I have been reading over the reviews of Avalon Flooring, which we had Not done prior to having 5 rooms of flooring put in! Must admit some of the comments aren't very good and if I had read some of them I may not have used Avalon! What we had done was get quotes from Home Depot, rather expensive! They wanted to tear out most of the existing flooring including a Foyer with ceramic tile, saying they could not go over it!

Which in my naivete, thought well that's probably right, which of course entail more expense? Then we had Smart Carpet over they said No we can seal that Foyer floor & install over it, but must tear out the rather large kitchen floor with 2 small adjacent rooms.additional charges of course! Also Smart Carpet wouldn't give a "bottom line quote" until we signed a contract!

We didn't care for that "kind of dealings" cancelled the deal! NO Stars for Smart Carpet! Also they didn't have any flooring samples of the color we selected that we could live with to help us decide on such a big project that we would live with forever! But once we did "finally" get the samples, which took some doing, having to talk to management!. the floor samples they sent were very cheap looking.again living with forever! So, then we went to Avalon Flooring in Brick NJ, where we live.

I had always thought they would be too expensive? Celeste gave us the best pricing quote right then and there, with a rough estimate of square, Vickie came over did a final measure, the Install Crew did an excellent job, were on time, sealed the Foyer, went over all the other existing floors perfectly, did all rooms in one day, moved furniture back and cleaned up!

Not only does our home feel like a new house, it looks absolutely beautiful! Yes & Yes! So we are giving Avalon Flooring of Brick, NJ "5 Stars"! Two for the Sales help, ease & samples.3 for the Install Crew! Thank you all.will definitely recommend! Sincerely Margo Jane Fletcher Brick NJ

Call me crazy, but I often go to the "bad" reviews first to get a sense of what folks may have encountered in their experience with a merchant or contractor. In the case of Avalon (Cherry Hill), I'm surprised that anyone could/would have a complaint. I won't go into details, but can honestly say the team at Avalon was always extremely professional. I got a great price on the carpet, 0% financing for 1 year, and a fabulous installation. I could not be happier. I highly recommend Avalon.
