David Gelinas is the Director of Education and Training for 1800MarbleGuy. David is responsible for doing the education & training for all of our field technicians in the various services we provide but also for doing all of the safety training as well. David is committed to making sure our Techs are able to provide the highest level of service possible but to also do it with the highest commitment to safety.

St Pete terrazzo floor restoration is gaining popularity. Terrazzo floors started to become common in west coast construction around the 1920s. They are found in several Pinellas County and Hillsborough County homes. When new and clean, these surfaces shined with elegance. Generations have come and gone since your home had its conglomerate slab poured and finished.
Stone tile floors are beautiful when they well taken care of and atrocious when sorely neglected. The classy look of a freshly cleaned, polished, and restored stone tile floor is uniquely appealing. However, very often you will see this type of flooring in poor condition. Perhaps several tiles are uneven and the finish of the surfaces has become dull.

Have the saltillo tile floors refinished about every 2-3 years and MarbleGuy never disappoints. On-time service, fair price, and great quality work. Contacted via text, and received a rapid response. Sent pictures and discussed what I needed done, and an estimate was emailed to me rapidly. After signing the contract, they set me up with an appointment. The day of the appointment, the crew text on the way, and arrived exactly on time. Crew was friendly and knowledgeable, they worked hard all day, and kept me in the loop of all the treatments they were performing.
They did a fantastic job, and the floor is bright and shiny once again. Finding good contractors these days is tough, just getting them to show up on time, or even at all can be a struggle. 1800MarbleGuy made it easy, they get a strong recommendation from me.

Great job across the board. I called to get our floors cleaned from stains due to construction/renovation. Our floor had stains that we tried to clean for a few months with vinegar, tile cleaner, steam, you name it. Dave, the owner, was here to assess the scope of work. Zack promptly texted several dates and took care of scheduling the appointment and Trey arrived on time and got the job done carefully and expeditiously. They are all courteous, friendly and professional. I will definitely recommend 1800MarbleGuy and will use them again if the need arises.

Well this turned into quite a disaster. I wanted my terrazzo floors to be refinished. The quote was just over $3000.00. The four gentleman that did the work seem to know what they were doing, but I was wrong. First of all my walls were a mess from approximately waist high throughout the whole house. Dings from ramming into the walls and the milky substance from the sanding machine was everywhere.
I was told after the fact they should have protected the walls but they didn't. The air was filled with sanding debris. At this time they sealed the floor with the debris falling into the wet sealer. I feel I could've done the same job with a $1.98 bottle of mop and glow. Long story short I had to retile the floor anyway.

I spent hours calling all over st Pete to find some marble polishers that would actually accept the job. These guys had good reviews online. I work on a yacht, we have very temperamental marble, and had a very specific time frame in which we could have the marble guys onboard, we needed to fit them around the guest's schedule. The marble guys were very professional and gave excellent communication and were very quick in their replies to my questions.
They were on time, and very knowledgeable. (I've worked with a lot of marble polishers and not all of them have been as knowledgeable as these guys.) They did a great job fixing the damaged marble and were very polite. I look forward to the next time we use these guys. A plus 5 stars. Thanks so much, David, Zack, and the marble guys!

David and his crew(James and Peter) did a great job restoring our marble kitchen counter tops to better than new condition. David is a true "Professional" and is a pleasure to work with. From estimate to completion, he and his crew were amazing. They spent about an hour just prepping the area(covering appliances and floors with plastic sheeting) to avoid damage and make for an easy clean up. David is a perfectionist and takes great pride in his work. Thank you David and crew.

I was very pleased with cleaning and sealing of my Saltillo tile floors. They were prompt and friendly and did a fine job. We had just acquired our new home, and all the floors are tile. It was a big job. I only wished that I had spent more time cleaning all the drywall dust out of the grout. The cleaning machine couldn't do corners well. Overall I'm very pleased with the result!

David, Josh and Omar did a fantastic job on our polished concrete floor in our condo! David came over and gave us a great estimate. He then scheduled the job around our work schedules. We were hoping the entire job could be done in five days. It only took four and the end result exceeded our expectations. Josh and Omar are absolutely professional installers. Our floors look incredible :- Dave and his crew did an amazing job on our terrazzo floor! We just moved into a new "old" home with some terrazzo. Our terrazzo floors now gleam!
