Excellent Customer Experience and Satisfaction! Our journey started online researching flooring products, vendors, installers, stores, and etc. Lots of info online but with found Van Briggle Floors due to their positive reviews and online presence. Numerous online discussions and flooring boards had Van Briggle Floors as a notable and knowledgable vendor in the flooring business for quite a while.

All the reviews we checked online showed positive and good things about them. Initially we thought of going to a big box store to buy the material and labor. We also considered acquiring the material ourselves and finding an installer. Ultimately we wanted to get a good deal, a good product, good warranty, and good customer experience. We decided to go with a reputable local provider, a shop that provided the material and had professional installers to do the work.

A place that would stand on the products and the labor of their work. We liked that Van Briggle where located close to our home and provide a more intimate experience for us, the best of both worlds we were looking for. Quality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction are first in their mission and values. From first stopping in their showroom on a Saturday to easily talking, learning about different types of flooring, and eventually scheduling for an onsite survey for a quote.

We wanted to replace our carpet, and initially thought of hardwood, engineered wood, and then laminate. The pros in Van Briggle helped us learn about the nuances of each and more about flooring. We eventually selected Luxury Vinyl Planks, LVP, due to the durability and low maintenance. Going through the process was excellent, no pressure, just helping with information.

Everyone from sales, project management, installers, and the whole staff showed the same consistent values, of showing empathy, customer satisfaction, and just making the whole process frictionless. A wonderful experience with professionals all throughout their company. Communication was clear. If there was an issue they contacted us right away before any next steps are done.

Every step in process was laid out from the get go and communicated often in the process. We were informed and knew exactly when, where, and how things where going to go. They were on top of things to scheduling, being on time, and the craftsman worked hard and left the area organized and clean after each day of the job. In the end, we were asked if there were any issues and/or questions.

They provided a free cleaning kit and information on how to care for our new floors. Special thanks to Andy, Shawn, and the rest of the Van Briggle flooring team, Rockstars! We highly recommend them and we are enjoying our early Christmas present of our new LVP floors, Thank You Van Briggle for scheduling us in, since they were fully booked, but found a way to fit us in and completing a job well done before New Year!

Andy and the entire Van Briggle Floors team are top notch professionals. Super knowledgable, friendly and great with communicating and walking us through the entire process from choosing the flooring we envisioned to the installation process. I shopped multiple flooring companies and Van Briggle had the best price for the flooring I was looking for by far.

After the flooring was installed, I had some heavy appliances delivered that ended up scratching parts of the flooring. I did a ton of research on different products to fix the scratches without success. But I reached out to Andy and he recommended a product that made the scratches disappear instantly. These guys know their stuff! And they will go the extra mile to help their customers even after the sale. I'm truly impressed with the knowledgable and friendly service (and pricing) from Van Briggle and definitely recommend anyone who is looking for flooring to check them out!

I'm extremely impressed with Van Briggle's team of the level of knowledge, professionalism and expertise. I worked with Van Briggle team to install flooring throughout my house. Their flooring selection is TOP quality. The look and craftmanship could not have been any better and I have received many compliments. We received quotes from different floor stores in the area and Van Briggle's price was very fair and competitive. Excellent service in supplying an HVAC contractor with what he needed.

Had an excellent experience with Van Briggle. The owners gave good advice when matching to the cabinets as well as the rest of the furnitures. We were able to take the store samples home to make the final decision. Customer service is also very responsive when we need to replace products and order new accessories. Highly recommend!

Got quotes from different shops in the area and Van Briggle was hands down the most transparent. They followed up and answered all the questions the wife and I have. We needed it done quick and Shawn, project manager kept the whole thing on track. Big shout out to the installers Armando and Humberto(?) for their skills. They took time to laid the floors out before installing to make sure that the knots spaced out well. They are not the cheapest but this investment was worth it. They do floor maintenance too for when the time comes. Legit company with great customer service.

This review is long overdue. We were in the market for a new floor for our rental property. Van Briggle was one of the shops that we visited and was also our final choice. From the start, we knew that going with Van Briggle would be a smart decision. We came in with another product in mind. However, the gentleman who appeared to be the owner took his time to explain the different type of floorings and helped us make the right decision for our needs.

Two set of tenants moved in and out and the floor is still good as new. The process was flawless. Van Briggle knew that time was of the essence for rentals, and they went out of their way to accommodate our schedule. Couldnt be happier with our decision and would recommend them to anyone.

Van Briggle Floors has a very nice showroom with many different selections to choose from. The staff is very knowledgeable and put in great recommendations to help match the floor with our new cherry cabinets. When it comes to installation, Humberto and Armando did a fantastic job. Shawn, the project manager also checked in very frequently to ensure that the project would be on time. They've earned a loyal customer and many more referrals.

There are many hardwood floor companies in our area but after having had Van Briggle floor company install new flooring in our living room and hallway and refinish our kitchen and entry to match I am 100% sure that no other company can do a better job than Van Briggle did. From the moment you contact them for an appointment to the final walk through you can be assured of excellent customer service and the finest installers and refinishers that can be found. Shawn, our lead contact and excellent communicator, ensured that our job started and ended on time and came to our house numerous times throughout the process to make sure the job was done correctly.

The two installers and refinish men, Jose and Rudy, were excellent at communicating and their expertise is beyond comparison. I was mostly impressed with how much pride everyone at the company demonstrated and as a result our flooring job is perfect. If you're looking to have your hardwood floors either refinished or installed new, look no further than Van Briggle Floors. You will be as excited as I am with the finished product and as impressed with the customer service as well.

1/10/2021 I would give them more stars if I could. They did hardwood floors for us 5 years ago for a reasonable price and the floors still look brand new in spite of a young boy racing around the house on tricycle, scooter, or anything else with wheels that is permitted inside. So their workmanship is fantastic and they were very easy to work with in deciding what product to use and working around some constraints we had.

When I wanted 2 other rooms in the house done recently, one with the same hardwood, the other with Gemcore, the job was 'too small' for them, but their customer service orientation still shown through! They always responded graciously to the numerous questions I had so my contractor would use the same process VB used, and they were able to give me an awesome price for the materials. If Yelp had 6 stars, I'd give them 6. I have very expensive, American Cherry floors that were getting all dinged up and needed to be refinished. The crew was great. They carefully moved all the furniture and started sanding the floor to a super smooth finish. All with hardly any dust in the air. They used a dust containment system. They put several layers of the polyurethane finish.

My floors turned out beautifully. It's the single most impactful home improvement project I've made. Now my floors are more resistant to knicks and dings. Even 9 months later my floors look like they were just refinished. The crew was so careful to clean off all my counters and cupboards and replace my furniture. I highly recommend them.

Went back to them for another job and they did great. The sell flooring made in USA! All the Chinese flooring comes from dubious sources.

Huge selection of hard woods and laminates. Best of all is the knowledge and experience the people in the store have. Most of the time the owner is on hand and can help you with any problem you might have concerning wood flooring. The installers are expert and have an eye for layout and intricate designs. When investing so much time and $$$$ in a floor, it makes sense to go with the best.

They recently did a project for our home where they married a 20 year old floor to new flooring. They custom mixed the stain, added the same designs in the old floor. No one can tell the difference between the old and new floors. That takes experience and the desire to do the job right. Van Briggle's does that everyday, every job.

Van Briggle just tore out anf replaced the 60-year-old oak flooring in our bedroom. The work was meticulous. Dan, the installer, barely stopped for lunch. Every night when he finished, the room was spotless. The new floor is gorgeous and matches the rest of the flooring in the house very well. ( It was installed in 1993.) Bill Abraham and Bob Vsn Brigglr were very responsive and often on site. No surprises, the cost was as estimated. These folks are excellent. They care about quality workmanship and customer service. Top notch!.

All I can say is WOW! Van Briggle flooring so completely exceeded my expectations. The hardwood floors they installed, repaired, and refinished are far more beautiful than I ever thought they could be. The quality of their workmanship and service is just extraordinary, far far beyond the typical experience in my 20+ years of home ownership. Bob VB came out to estimate the work and was just great to work with. He's old school, he's not a slick, polished salesperson. He's the real deal and he really knows hardwood floors. So, I figured that for the best outcome, I really needed to listen to the advice he was giving me.

And I did and he was absolutely right about what needed to be done. Bob's estimate for the work was spot on and we would have stayed within the original estimate had i not increased the scope. In every case, Bob explained very clearly the cost for everything so that I knew exactly what I was paying for and what any additional charges might arise.

In the end, there was one additional charge that I was aware might crop up but it was just a fraction of a percent of the original estimate. Bob also did a fantastic job of managing expectations about scheduling, dust, possible issues that would come up (that in fact didn't) and exactly how the floor would look when finished, what squeaks in the floor he could and couldn't fix.

As a result, there were no conflicts whatsoever, the job ran smoothly, on time and on budget. Regarding scheduling: the job took exactly as long as Bob said it would. And, they actually moved up the dates so the whole job was completed ahead of schedule. Dust: The dust created by the sanding/buffing process was actually negligible because they use a vacuum during the process.

And his crew did a fantastic job of sealing everything off so that clean up was very minimal. Quality of Work: Again, all I can say is WOW! Our floors are so beautiful, so much more beautiful than I ever imagined. The floors we chose had a lot of detailed work, white oak with inlaid Walnut detail and flooring on the diagonal, which required a master craftsperson to execute well, and Dan was all that and more. Patient, consistent, and totally committed to doing the best work possible.

And he did. Can't say enough about him. And the team that finished the floors were equally as committed to perfection. Quality of Service: Bob and his crew were very professional, very, very skilled, and very committed to their quality of work. I really cannot say enough about how good his team was and how grateful I am to them. I really feel that they've left behind a beautiful work of art. Van Briggle Flooring really lives up to their motto, which I believe is "Service is our business, flooring is our trade." and i cannot recommend them more highly.

Just a quick note about Van Briggle. I called to see if they could do some work for me on our floor replacement. They called back first thing, were very up front and said they were booked up for a couple of months. But, they gave me a bunch of advice over the phone! Hopefully in the future I can plan things out a bit more in advance and give them some business!

I have extensive water damage to my hardwood floor and called Van Briggle Floors to get an estimate for the repair job. I spoke to Bob and he was very off-putting and rude. He said he only does big jobs and would not consider a repair job in Morgan Hill. Typically when a company can't do a job they will refer you to someone who can. He was not helpful and had a bad attitude.

Even though this company comes highly recommended, the owner (Bob) is not someone I would work with. These hardwood businesses are a dime a dozen and Van Briggle Floors is losing out on business and future referrals.

Bob and crew recently completed a hardwood/carpet job at our new house. They laid new hardwood in the kitchen and refinished already existing hardwood in the hallway and in one bedroom. (They also re-carpeted our three other bedrooms.) They made the new hardwood match the existing hardwood perfectly, and they repaired some pretty significant damage on the existing hardwood. Honestly, my wife and I were surprised at how good the existing hardwood looked after VB was finished! It looked brand new! Bob was professional and knowledgable and we would recommend Van Briggle floors without hesitation!

Van Briggle just finished my office floor. They installed 3/4 x 3 Rift/Quarter sawn Red Oak. I have a unique oil finish by Woca. It has a satin sheen and looks absolutely AMAZING! Van Briggle does great work. Can't wait to have them back next year to do the remainder of the house. Thanks again Bob, Dan

Years ago, Bob Van Briggle installed flooring for me, doing a fine job. However, recently, he cancelled 2 appointments, the latter one within 4 minutes of his arrival, based on some "emergency issue." Timeliness and respect for a customer's' busy schedule is very important -- both of which Mr. Van Briggle seems to have forgotten.

After seeing how poorly my friend's floor was installed I'm so glad I used Van Briggle. They spent a long time making sure the floor was properly aligned and I'm very pleased with the results. We had one minor issue: we weren't aware that we wouldn't be able to get in the house one night. Our concrete slab needed a moisture barrier (paint on waterproofing) and it was still wet when we got home so we left footprints it in and they had to re-do the coating (which they did without complaint).

When the project seemed like it was going to take longer than expected they brought in extra people from another project in order to finish on time. We really appreciated that since it meant we had a floor for the weekend.

I used them in the mid-1990's when I remodelled my kitchen. I have also referred them to several friends. This time I have a project to refinish the main floor of my home. I filled out the web form on their site, emailed, and called three times. Talked to someone but I am still waiting for the call-back that never came. I guess they don't need the business. Be sure not to give them yours.

I'm so glad I picked Van Briggle to do my hardwood floor. I bought a house that was fully carpeted, but I knew there was a red oak hardwood floor underneath. I wanted to have the carpet removed and the hardwood refinished. Bill from Van Briggle Floors came out to give an estimate. His knowledge and experience were so apparent that I knew immediately that I wanted them for the job.

On the surface, their prices were a tad bit higher than some other places, but I could already tell they weren't going to nickel-and-dime me to death, which others seemed to be gearing up to do. I scheduled to have the work done, and the Friday before, Bill had his guy come out to get a head start on pulling up the old carpet. A few hours in and I got call from Bob, the owner, who had come out to my property because the crew had found an issue.

The living room was about 80% covered with animal urine stains. The hallway was pretty much 100% stained. Urine stains cannot be sanded out. And thus the adventure began. Every step of the way, I was glad to be working with Van Briggle Floors. I decided to get a new hardwood floor (I really wanted hardwood!). They have a great showroom! I spent quite some time there with Bill and Bob, discussing various options.

Along the way, the crew discovered some moisture in the subfloor. They also discovered live termites, just two weeks after fumigation and subterranean termite treatment. They replaced twelve floorboards. There were other surprises, with a missing joist and questionable support for the subfloor -- all taken care of in some way by Van Briggle Floors.

Every time the crew discovered something questionable, they would call Bob (the owner). And then Bob would call me over and we'd discuss how best to proceed. Bill was on site every day and made sure things were going smoothly in general. The process never slowed or stalled, even though there were surprises and changes along the way. With all the changes and surprises, a less scrupulous or just sloppy company could have put the screws to me each time.

Not only did I feel well taken care of by Van Briggle Floors, I think they must have absorbed a bit of the unexpected cost. Yes, they charged for the subfloor work, but I know how much general contractors can charge, and it was much less. This is all not to mention that the end result looks great. As I started out saying, I'm so glad I picked Van Briggle for my floors.

I had my hardwood floors done by Van Briggle Floors, and I'm very happy with their work and professionalism. When I walked into Van Briggle Floors in Campbell, I was pleasantly surprised at their large selection of samples. Bob is the owner and he was very patient with my list of questions and explained to me the various materials and methods of installation.

I was very impressed with their customer service, and since his price was comparable to other flooring company, I decided to go with him. His crew came to work as scheduled, and worked very efficiently. However, 2 days prior to work's completion, my kitchen was flooded due to mal-functioning of the kitchen sink. Water had completely covered the kitchen, the living room, the dinning room and parts of the bedroom.

I was devastated, so I called Bob to let him know the news. He and his crew came by the next morning to check out the situation. Because the water had soaked thru the hardwood floors, Bob's crew had to completely remove all the newly installed hardwood floors, and he then suggested I rent a few large fans to dry out the concrete floors (as to prevent molding in the future).

I followed his suggestions, and after a few days of drying out the concrete, his crew came back and re-installed the hardwood floors again. They worked efficiently and completed the work in a short period. It was a very stressful week, but Bob was definitely helpful in this time of crisis, and his crew worked efficiently to get the job done quickly.
