Precision Flooring

Precision Flooring just finished a carpeting project for us (completed yesterday). The entire team was a pleasure to deal with, starting with Don. Don came out to assess the project, helped us navigate the various carpet choices and provided a very reasonable estimate. When I expressed concern over what it would take to make the floor stop squeaking, Don explained what they've experienced (and it wouldn't be as much of an issue as I thought it might be).

The team that did the tear-out, floor prep and baseboard work were great to work with. Don was right (of course) - resetting the nails holding the subfloor to the joists took care of the squeaking. The carpet installation team (Fred and Rich) did a great job. They know their stuff. Fred shared details of what he was doing and why he was doing it (like the kind of seam tape he used).

The carpet is beautiful. After they finished the installation, I noticed Fred was working on the carpeting on our stairs (which we had installed by another company many years ago). I guess the carpeting was a little loose in spots, so he decided to fix it because "it was bothering him". Great service and a great experience. We recommend Precision Flooring without hesitation.

Precision Flooring recently helped me install a new carpet on my second floor. The whole process went smoothly. They did the purchase and installation within a few weeks. Don was easy to communicate with. Fred was friendly and professional on the installation day. I am very satisfied with the result.

Precision Flooring is in the process of replacing the floors in my condo to get it ready to put on the market. Glenn understood my urgency to get this done quickly and has been squeezing it in every chance he can. The hard surface flooring is already in and it looks gorgeous!

This is not the first time we've used this establishment! From the quote, which was reasonable and competitive, to the impeccable installation process, I would absolutely call on Precision Floors for all my flooring needs! (We called to get additional flooring installed to match what was installed 15 years ago). The installers were timely, tidy, friendly and did a fantastic job.

Awesome! i Just had upstairs carpet installation done by Precision Flooring. The installers (Fred and Richard) did an excellent job. These guys are professionals and know what they are doing. As a bonus Fred fixed my creaky floor before putting the new carpet down. Don the owner is the best. I needed carpet in a quick time frame. He said no problem they can do it sooner than I need it.

I previously had them do hardwood downstairs. They do an excellent job and the price is good for the professional service they provide. I recommend them and will use them again in the future.

I recently worked with Glen at Precision Flooring on a hardwood stairs installation. Glen did a great job providing professional support. Most notably, the flooring installer, Luis, did a fantastic job installing over an imperfect stairway rough-in. I couldn't have been more pleased with Luis's attention to detail, expediency, dust control, and service interaction. Precision has a large showroom with a wide variety of products. They are not a discount store type operation, but offer a wide variety of products and superior service at a fair price. Highly recommended!

We recently contracted Precision Flooring to replace all of our old carpet and hardwood flooring with luxury vinyl plank, including stairs and all of the baseboards. The results are fantastic! Tim guided us throughout the entire process in a very professional, responsive, honest and courteous manner. They have an extensive selection of LVP to choose from and allow you to check out floor boards to see how the flooring might look at your home in various lighting conditions throughout the day.

Once we chose a floor and supply availability was confirmed, install dates were promptly set up and installation was completed within the 2 week period specified. We requested additional work outside of the original estimate and were promptly presented with updated costs to approve. This offered us full transparency on final cost. We are happy with the quality of the work done on the installation and the quality of the LVP we chose. Overall, we had a very positive experience and the cost/quality/timing exceeded our expectations.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Horrible, rude owner. Wouldn't sell me what I wanted because he thought he knew better. You just lost a 20k sale. Don't waste your time here. The owner is rude, unprofessional and a con artist

I am very pleased with the job Precision Floors did for me. I already had hardwood flooring in the dining room and kitchen. They removed the living room carpet and old hardwood floor and installed new hardwood. Matched the living room and dining room. Amazing job. Thanks to Tim, Chris, Rick, Luis, Evi and Nick. High-quality reliable service delivered by installer Evi. Skillfully he replaced wood sections, repaired, and refinished the floors in an older home. Not only that, he also matched as best possible the refinished sections to existing wood flooring in stain. Would hire them again and be happy to have Evi work on the project next time as well.

They did the hardwood floors in my home. They did such a great job they also did the floors in my Mom's house. I can't recommend them enough I refer them to friends all the time.

Very rude owner who just wants to rip people off. Gave me the highest estimate out of seven places called. Really bad attitude and doesn't like to hear "no" or be told what to do. Maybe don't work in the service industry if you don't like to serve.

Just a scam. They buy engineered low-quality hardwood and mark it up more than any one else in the bay. Extremely rude, pushy, unprofessional salesman (who I think is actually the owner). Wouldn't sell me the item I wanted because he was trying to get rid of discounted junk. Absolute waste of time. I have never left a business so angrily in my life.

Recently I needed to replace the floors in my kitchen and bathroom. Precision Flooring offered a wide selection of flooring samples from which I was able to select some of my favorites to take home and "try out" in my kitchen and bathroom. Once I had made my flooring decisions, Bernard, my installer, completed both rooms in a timely fashion. Bernard is a highly skilled craftsman and both floors are absolutely beautiful. He was a pleasure to work with.

We are mid-job as I write this so I will be sure to update afterward. While the quality of the work appears to be excellent, the management/process has not been very smooth. After days of work were completed, it was determined that the wood put in would not match the rest of the house! So they basically had to start from scratch, tearing out the wood again, replacing it again.

Super frustrating but mistakes happen I guess. What is more frustrating is the challenge to reach our sales contact and get a clear schedule of what will be done, and when. Not sure why that has been an issue. That makes things challenging as we have hired them during quarantine and need to share the space or make plans to work from home somewhere else, especially during the noisiest parts. Let's just say one of us stayed in a hotel for a few days but the schedule changes due to the wood error meant no actual work was done during that time. Looking forward to the end of this process!

Just completed a flooring project with Precision Flooring. Ricardo and Martin were so professional and efficient. Our neighbors recommended Precision Flooring and we just had them install our vinyl flooring throughout our 1400 sqft house in Los Gatos. Reasonable price, was able to start the installation within three weeks, and the actual installation only took one week (Monday-Friday). I work from home, so I got to see how hard working the team is with such quality result - we love it. I enjoyed the entire team, especially Everardo (Evi), Luis and Mario. Quality of the work was fantastic, transparency in the process and cost was not. All in, they came in ~$2300 over what was quoted (about a 20% increase). One issue was flagged to me mid project (floor needed to be floated with plywood) and I asked for the quote before they continued (I was at work). No quote given, finished the work before I had a chance to approve.

This added $1300 to my overall bill. When I contacted them to provide feedback about not having the chance to make a decision, their response is that they don't have time to get every change order approved. If you don't want to be surprised with significant additional costs, I'd steer clear. 5 stars for the subcontractors who refinished my floors. Wish I had their contact info as I would happily use them again.

We just had our floors done by Precision, and they exceeded our expectations! There are sooo many flooring companies out there, not to mention stores that sell the materials for you to install yourself. It was overwhelming to us at first with the materials and options. We also recieved quite a few quotes from different companies. We were at our wit's end until we found Precision.

They have so many flooring options in their showroom, but they are really cool and let you borrow samples so you can see how they look in your house before you commit. SO glad we did because the colors we originally liked did NOT look good in our house! Once we decided what we wanted and made the decision to go forward, we were on a huge time crunch as my baby was due soon and we wanted the work to be completed before then. Precision was able to schedule us right away, AND completed the job in the time frame they gave us in the beginning.

With that being said, the work wasn't rushed, nor sloppy. They did a thorough job and every detail was taken into consideration, including painting of the baseboards. The floors turned out even better than we expected and we have already received numerous compliments! HUGE thanks to Tim, as well as the installers Rick and Mario! They are true professionals!

Great experience. We had a flood in our family room and needed new flooring. After talking to several places and reviewing estimates, Precision Flooring came in with best prices and customer service.

Oh yes! I would highly recommend this place! We constructed a new home and used Precision flooring for both our hardwood and carpeting. Don and his guys were very patient helping us choose the right fit for our home and answering all of our questions. What I enjoyed most was watching them install We have stairs and watching Ebby (Ebrardo) do his cuts and precise measurements was like watching an artist paint. He was legit phenomenal! Kudos, guys!

I have yet another amazing experience with Precision Flooring. I had my floor done in February and 2 weeks ago we had to have 300sqft removed due to the water damage. Precision Flooring responded quickly sending Roger over to give me an estimate. They have managed to reinstall floor one week later in 2 days only. Our installation team were Juan and Chino - they were very professional, punctual and courteous. I also want to thank you Tim who called me from his vacation just to tell me he will take care of our urgent need.

Donnie was able to listen to what we were looking for, give us different options, and work with our budget.
