Ken's Carpets & Flooring

We are longtime clients of Ken's in addition to my parents and siblings. We have learned through experience that there's no point in getting stressed out selecting flooring when you deal with Ken. Just let him help you and take his advice because he knows what he's talking about. Recently we ask Ken for help selecting Karndean flooring For our kitchen and entryway.

Previously we installed the same product throughout the upstairs. This product has withstood two large labs running, playing, skidding, and wiping out every single day without a scratch or dent. It was a no-brainer to choose the same brand (Karndean)for the kitchen. I struggled a little bit with the colors and sizing but Ken suggested we go with charcoal gray almost black, White trim and large diameter tile.

After the installation was complete, my husband asked me to come downstairs to see the final product. I had been too scared to see it Before it was complete. So I avoided the kitchen for a few days. I walked gingerly down the stairs towards the kitchen and saw the landing area and this beautiful charcoal gray tile, and then burst into tears and ran the rest of the way down.

Our kitchen is so beautiful now with the contrast between the wood cabinets and the flooring. It is the modern look I was seeking without knowing how to make it so. Our neighbors came over and went crazy for the flooring! I will never trust anyone else in the flooring business but him. Also his installer, Marcelo, is a true artist. The way he trims product, does the seams and lays out the pattern is just perfect. He has the gift of vision!

Ken receives highest marks for excellent customer service even though he didn't sell us anything! After listening to our project and searching his inventory, he did not see a harmonious match with other design elements. Instead he helped us figure out an alternative: use the same floor tile from the adjacent room (which we had leftover so no additional cost). That truly exhibits his priorities for the design and customer's needs first. Thank you, Ken!

Ken and team were excellent to work with! We had a wooden staircase and were looking to add a runner. Ken's Carpets had so many carpet options to choose from! I didn't know quite what look I was going for upon arrival, but quickly became inspired by the animal prints and ultimately chose the leopard print pictured - it appears a subtle grey from afar, but has some great detail (and even a little sparkle) up close. Jose did a great job with installation - a true craftsman with his attention to detail (check out the binding).

He even made an accommodation for a last-minute executive meeting I was leading from my home and took a break during that time. I'm thrilled with the end result, Ken and team's expertise in the space, and their warmth throughout the process.

We did a kitchen remodel a number of years ago and had Ken's Carpets put in Karndean Luxury Vinyl planks. It has lasted so much better than wood and laminate flooring that friends have had put in. So recently we decided to update flooring all throughout the house. We put in more of that same flooring since we love it so much and carpeting in other areas.

I didn't feel that I had too much of an idea of what I wanted in carpeting and wasn't really looking forward to picking it out. Ken is impressively knowledgeable and after talking about it a bit, I was absolutely floored (excuse the pun) when his first suggestion was perfect, a beautiful blend of dark and light elegance that was exactly what I didn't know I needed (called "cracked pepper").

The whole business cares a lot about the customer experience. Marcello and his crew of installers were very nice, extremely competent, and hard-working. They worked long days, but were very considerate of my husband working from home. I feel like we moved into a whole new home and we are happy to support a deserving local business that takes great pride in what they do. I highly recommend Ken's Carpets.

Ken himself was very helpful with ideas and suggestions. The turn around time was great!. The installation crew was hardworking, efficient and very professional. Happy all the way around.

Excellent experience with Ken's Carpets! It was a return visit for us; we had water damage following the storms. Ken IMMEDIATELY came out to evaluate and recommend.new carpet was installed beautifully within a matter of days! We will definitely return! Ann was great with carpet selection, advising us on everything from fibers to color and wear considerations for our stairway carpeting. Ken came out to measure and made recommendations on padding and edge finishing, along with detailed information about the installation procedures his installers would be using. Jose and Armando installed our carpet today and we're so, so happy with the finished product!

Ken really helped me pick up the perfect carpet for my stairs. The carpet really blended in with my older carpet and didn't look out of place. I would not have been as pleased with my selections at his showroom without his help. Installation was professional and timely.
