This is where it all started. Located at 122 E. Kensington in the Roseland neighborhood on the south side of Chicago, Tom's grandparents, Hank and Ida Rossi, ran their carpet and furniture business from 1934 until 1969. Across from Old Moose Lodge, near St. Antony's Church. Tom's dad continued the carpet business, while Tom's uncle continued the furniture side of things. In 1969, the Rossi family business moved to 14239 Halsted in Riverdale, IL where they remained until 1987 when the building was sold.

Went in to talk with someone about new floors in our condo - the person on duty could not be bothered to get up off the couch from watching TV to greet us, or try to help. He sat there and reached over his head to point at what we could look at no assistance what so ever. I guess the soap opera he was watching was much too important to address our needs. Hope the TV show can pay him and pay the bills for the owner. We walked out.

They installed the carpet, laminate and base boards I had purchased from them. Everything went smoothly from beginning to end. Ron took the measurements and later had his employees do the installation. They showed up on time and worked fast and efficiently. All were pleasant and professional. I highly recommend this business.

I am extremely satisfied with the carpet installation. The installers are professional, friendly and efficient. They helped me move the heavy furniture and did few other things which are not part of the job. The price is very reasonable. The quality of the carpet and installation is way over my expectation. Flawless! Expert Floor completely changed the feel of our home! They were on time, finished ahead of schedule and installation was perfect! Everything from the moment we stepped foot in the showroom to when they left our home was above and beyond outstanding. Their WHOLE team is awesome! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone looking to do flooring, check with Tom or Keisha FIRST (they are all wonderful) but these two, I cannot say enough good about them! My pictures below, I was very impressed how clean they were while installing. They were careful, neat & tidy throughout!

From the first contact with Tom, we knew this was a place who knew what they were doing. Keisha set everything up and like clockwork the installation team arrived, on time every day. The installation crew was headed up by Luis, who was incredible. The crew could not have been more respectful in our home. The project was scheduled for a week - and again like clockwork.
One week later our new floor was down, boards reinstalled and painted (not touched up - painted)! They cleaned up and just like that it was finished. 100% all the way, couldn't recommend them enough. Thank you.

What a wonderful experience! Top-notch customer service in all aspects from consultation and sale to installation and post installation follow up. These folks know how to do it. We returned to Tom Rossi's Expert Flooring for our new flooring. They had previously carpeted two of the bedrooms. This time we had them remove all the ceramic tile and install LVT in the main areas of our home. Keisha was very knowledgeable and helpful as we navigated through all the choices. Jerry, Juan, and Jeff did an amazing job installing. We could not be happier with the result.
They took great care to reduce the dust and discomfort of the tile removal. They were very careful with the baseboards and with the cabinets in the kitchen. The time frame was very fast for this large job. We love the finished product and are now able to concentrate on replacing our old furnishings as well.

Almost a year ago we redid our bedrooms with Expert Flooring. We love the high quality Mohawk Strand carpet! Bob Rossi was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The installers were excellent as well. We recently had a dark red stain in the carpet. When we called Bob he told us about a great product called Mohawk Instant Tough Stain Remover and even had a can waiting at the store for me to pick up immediately. What great customer service a year later! And great products!

This is what a carpet store should be and more. Tom Rossi is as good as it gets. He is not only knowledgeable about his products, but is also reputable and employs the best and most careful installers in the business. We found a carpet we liked at a local home improvement store, were dissatisfied with their service prior to purchase, and came to Tom.
He immediately knew the manufacturer of the carpet, and was able to get it from the manufacturer, who was one of his suppliers. He explained all about fibers, wear, and cleaning. We are thrilled with the result. The carpet we selected is a nylon by Shaw and the pattern is Crafted Artisan. Although there are seams due to room size, you can't even see them. Pattern was matched superbly by Jose. He is truly an artist with carpets.
